Wedding Venue

My FI and I are having a 1950's Vintage Classic Doowop wedding. We are looking for a venue with a 1950's retro diner feel i.e., jukebox classic cars etc, but have come up empty. If anyone has any ideas it would be very appreciated. We are from NJ but are willing to travel. Thank you in advance.

I know there is a diner that is huge and it has classic cars inside of it on display. I have no idea if you would be able to rent out the place and have outside catering.

It might work but I am not sure if you want to have your venue at an actual diner.

I think they even have the booths that look like cars.

I just googled and found a wedding that was at the DooWop Museum in Wildwood, NJ. Their website didn't look like it had a lot of information but if it has been done once before I am sure it could be done again!

this sounds like such a great theme! I love 50s doowop! I was looking up the wildwood museum previously mentioned and came across this wedding that they had there.

Thank you to all that have posted. We will definitely check them out. Unfortunately, we have made the trip to the Wildwood DooWop Museum and the update is that it is under new management and the new owner has no clue about the wedding that took place there and wasn't really interested. Thanks for the tip though. W e definitely appreciate all suggestions! Happy Planning to all!

Wildwood will give you a whole town of your theme.

There also used to be a bar / nightclub in Piscataway with the big 50's jukebox . . . I can't think of the name of it & it might be closed so don't get your hopes up yet.
