Re: Ridiculously Early Evening Thread

  • Angel - do you know what you're going to wear for your engagement shoot? We are getting ours done in august. I think we are going to get it done by the beaches where we live & just around our neighbourhood - lots of picturey places haha.

  • Rachers - We didnt offer to pay but we did offer to pick them up & them drop them off after they could save money on gas/parking permits. =)

  • I was going to clean today. That didn't really happen. I may drink wine and clean my room tonight though. Wine may make it more bearable.

Muni, you're a good portion of the reason I bought the moscato... you've mentioned it a few times and it got me really curious, haha.

  • Angel - if it rains on July 2nd, for real - get a big ass umbrella!  Some friends of mine were "rained on" for their engagement photos but they turned out really cute in the rain, under a huge yellow umbrella.

I had a fun day at work.  Summer can be really boring but today I had random stuff pop up all over the place, including a fun visit with one of our senators on the farm bill.  BUT.  I won't bore you guys, lol.

I'm not 100% sure. I think I want to do 2 different outfit... something cute but casual... maybe capris, a cute tank top and wedges, and then a dress with heels. A sundress, so still kind of casual, but just a nicer kind of casual. Sadly I'm too broke to buy anything new, so I'll have to go with something I already own.

  • Dileni, puppy pics?

Angel, I hope you like it!  If not, I'll finish the bottle for you.

  • Hi.

I had a long day at work.   Now Chef is driving me crazy.  He even spent the whole day with me, yet he is acting like he hasn't seen me all day.

It's pizza and beer night with friends.  There is a NY style pop-up restaurant only open on Thursdays.  It's awesome?

Anyone surprised one of Sundusky's sons is saying he was molested by his father?

  • Lynda, I hadn't heard that, but no, that's not surprising.

Also, I want to go shopping with Muni and Rachers. I'm okay at picking clothes, but then you guys could help accessorize me :)

    So awful :(
  • Rachers-  I ordered that curling iron you suggested but I ordered it 1/2 inch too big by mistake and can't use it for awhile until my hair gets longer.  Very disappointed.

  • the story just broke.     I get AP breaknews on my phone.

I think this guy is the worse of the child molesters.

  • Brandi, what curling iron is it? Can you return it for a smaller one? I need a curling iron. And then I need to be taught how to use it.

    I'm drinking moscato too.

I also hope Sandusky rots, in the worst way. Jerkoff.

  • Hey ladies.  I just ate some pasta with butter and shredded cheese because I had no intention of cooking anything.  My allergies have been a wreck for 2 days and my head is killing me.  Other than that not much is going on.  I got to Skype with H this morning which was great, and I probably will again in the middle of the night or tomorrow morning.

I'm also a little ashamed to admit I am watching Bristol Palin's reality show right now.

  • Also, Moscato is my favorite wine.

I ordered from amazon and it came in about 10 minutes before we were leaving to go OOT.  I opened the box and threw it away so I can't return it now.  It heated up really fast and when I did try it, it made my hair curl under after about 30 seconds so I'm sure when it gets a bit longer that it will work just fine.  I'm debating whether to just get the 1" anyway.

  • Well, then I think I'm going to declare that I will serve Moscato at my eventual Center Stage viewing and Wine Drinking party since everyone's on board the moscato train.

I think she takes her vows of "for better or worse"  way too seriously.   There is no way in HELL I would support DH in this case.

There have been husbands unfairly  accused, so I see sticking with your man depending on the case.  This however,  is not one of those cases.  I can't understand how anyone could believe he was innocent.

  • I have heard so many great things about Moscatto but I've never tried it.  I'm not a drinker in general and especially not wine so I'm not sure if I'll like it.  Am I correct that it is sweet, more like a dessert wine?

Rache, has your mouth recovered from the assault yet?  Perhaps I can send you some funny drugs I have left over from the last surgery
  • Actually the Sandusky news is old news, but when it was first uncovered the investigators didn't think there was enough credible evidence to support it.  Not that this makes it any better, but this was an adopted son and not a biological one.
  • AWWWWWWW my puppy ovaries just burst.
  • Did anyone see this story? (a girl sings Christina Aguilera's 'Right Man' as she walks down the aisle)

Do you think at this point the groom was having second thoughts about marrying this AW? I'm embarrased for this girl.

<div>It's sweet, but not as thick and syrupy as a dessert wine.  </div>

  • Yes, Brandi, its a VERY sweet dessert wine that is slightly sparkling (not as much as champagne, but a bit of effervescence)
