  Some people aren't internet people. I'd probably include an accommodations card in your invitation with the hotel information on it.  I'd then put your wedding website link on the accommodations card instead of the reception card.

  This.  I have a wedding website & I sent out the link with the STDs.  I think only 3 people out of over 100 have looked at it.  I'd include an accommodations card with the hotel info on it.
  FWIW - my parents get POed whenever they get an invitation without driving directions included...they're kinda old school like that and don't trust GPS.

  We put our website on the STD. There will not be an accommodations card in our invite, thus, people will likely just ask if there are suggested hotels in the event they didn't check the website. I have no plans of having the website listed on the invite.
  
  For my FI's mom, who is a bit oldschool, I'm sending her, via mail, hotel information, driving directions, etc. just because I offered and knew she would appreciate it.

  Our hotel (a Hyatt) provides small business-card sized accommodation cards which we are putting in the invites.
