Airbrush Tanning

Hey ladies I was thinking of getting an airbrush tan for the wedding (I don’t go tanning and if I don’t do something I will literally be the same color as my dress). I was wondering if you had any recommendations for a place and how long before the wedding you did it?

Also, can I still go for my massage the week of the wedding without it ruining it?

this is a post and run (i have an anatomy exam, picking up my bridesmaids dresses, and baking for the holiday)

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

i went to hollywood tans - and they did a great job.  it DID come off a tiny bit on the armpits of my dress because I was sweating while dancing, but other than that, it looked great.

i dont' suggest going for a massage - the oils and repetitive rubbing will probably rub the tan off, and it will be weird and uneven.

I am the queen of airbrush tans. I get them a lot because I am whiter than white.

I would do an airbrush tan over a spray tan booth like Hollywood or Planet Sun has (sorry Dana!). Booths shoot out one color and it's usually orange. And it comes out streaky and oompa loompa-like.

With airbrushing, they can adjust the color to fit your skin tone so it's not too dark or too light. And they are controlling where you get sprayed and how much they spray in a certain area.

I did mine on Wednesday and got married on a Friday. I was tan for my RD on Thursday and still tan for my wedding on Friday. (You don't want to do it the day before or day of)

I do not recommend getting a massage after the airbrush tan. The oils will not be good for the tan. I recommend getting a tan before you get airbrushed.

    IMO-
Best of the best: Sundara in NYC (pricey but worth it)
Second best: Jacqueline Pascuale Spa in Edgewater
