Flowers

Brown flowers?

I am having a fall wedding. My bridesmaids dresses are chocolate. The flowers I have chosen are orange and pink. My mom recently came up with an idea to put a few chocolate colored flowers in each bouqet. Any ideas on brown flowers?

My mom watched an episode of my fair wedding in which the couple had a chocolate flower in their arrangements.... I have had no luck in finding out what flower that might be.

Any help would be great! :)

Chocolate Anthiriums or even monkey's tail (a brown curly q) would be nice.

I remember seeing a flower called chocolate cosmos. They seemed to be pretty popular with brides who wanted a brown flower. Hope this helps!

The chocolate cosmos are more of a burgandy I was in a wedding that used them it was a chrismas themed wedding so they looked great. I never really say any natural brown flowers out there. You could take an creme type flower and paint it with floral paint (your florist will know how to do this) and the flowers look remarkably natural not fake at all. the hydrangea below is example of a painted flower.

Chocolate lilies can be quite beautiful, though there are several varieties; there are some that are nearly all brown.

Fall is a great time to use seed heads and grasses.
