How's the bun?

Heeey. Everythings good, so far. My first doc appt is Oct 12th. I'm fighting a nasty headcold, sans medicine. I should be sleeping, but it's the first chance I've had to knot all weekend.

How's Em?

Em is doing well! She can sit up decently now, tripod style. She gets frustrated that she can't use her hands since they're holding her up, though.

How is Taryn?

Ugh. I don't know what this phase is that Taryn's going through, but it needs to end. She used to be content to sit in her playpen or exersaucer for a while and entertain herself. Nooooooooooo, not anymore. She demands your undivided attention, ALL THE TIME. And, if you don't give it to her, she does this squeal/cry/scream/screech to get your attention. I'm surprised our windows haven't broken yet. Poor DH. He's going bonkers when I'm at work.

That being said, it seems like she develops more and more every day. She pulls herself up on everything, and has started walking sideways in her playpen, or holding onto the couch. She says "butt-butt" when she has a dirty diaper and waves bye-bye now, too.

Yep. No Mama yet, but she says butt-butt.

Haha, funny story:

The other day, I was changing her diaper, and saying Mamamamamama. Taryn was squirming and fussing because I was holding her down and not letting her crawl away. DH comes in, looks at Taryn, points at me, and says "Tyrant. Ty-Rant" She smiled. Hopefully she doesn't pick that one up.

butt-butt = too funny!

Em is finally babbling again. For awhile she was just screeching and it wasn't fun. I definitely thought of Taryn when Em started the screeching.

Poor thing! I don't remember Taryn tripoding. When I first got home, she would sit up for a few seconds, and then fall. I kept trying to teach her to tripod, and would put her legs out under her, but it didn't work. Then, all of the sudden one day, we realized that she was sitting up.

Oh, she can't pull herself up yet, but she's pretty solidly propped once you get her there. She does list to a side, though, so I still keep my legs around her.

Poor thing wants to stand SO BAD. She's always clamoring to get up.

Alright, I should try to sleep. I napped before with Em when she was falling asleep, so of course I'm wired now.
