Good morning. I was at the Phils game and it got silent after the last pitch. I'm sad but so tired so it's nice to not have to stay up. I'm glad the Yankees didn't make it either. Also, that Eagles game was just terrible.

I'm at the British Library working on my small business. I talked to my brother last night and I'm even more excited about it, yay.

Sad Phillies and Eagles lost.

But my friend offically asked me to be in her WP. She was so cute too. She gave us gift bags and in the box inside was a fake diamond ring with a tag on it asking us to be a bridesmaid! When I went to take it out and be a dork (I was going to wear it) it was actually a wine stopper. Too CUTE! We then proceeded to drink like we did in college... wow, I'm not 22 anymore that's for sure! We had fun though, until the Phillies lost.

Sunday, I had my first real Philly cheesesteak. They took me to Pats, oh man I've been missing out haha. It was FI's first cheesesteak in Philly too.

Not having a good morning at all. Catching up on all the work from being out on Friday, and it's Monday and there are still 5 full work days this week. I'm being very pessimistic but - it's true. So fingers crossed this week flies by.

I effing hate Monday morning.

It was a rough sports weekend in my house, between the Phils, the Eagles, and the Vols (my college team). I'm sad about the Phillies, but glad that I don't have to work any more games into my schedule. And all of my Saturdays have freed up, as the Vols' season is over, so that's a plus.

BUT -- DH and I picked a duvet cover! It's from Crate and Barrel, sadly it's not online but I'll try to upload pics from my phone later!

Good morning. This weekend was a blur. I spent most of it out at different things and I was just annoyed to have so much of my time taken up. I feel like I barely got to see DH and I didn't get to do any organizing or cleaning around the house. Im glad the Yankees lost. Sad about the Phillies, but they gave it a good run.

I hope today goes really fast.

Morning all!

Between the Phillies, Eagles, UD (my college), and Texas (our family college team we love and root for) all losing, this weekend SUCKED in sports.

In other news, we were able to decide on towels which we have been hemming and hawing on (from Macy's, but they aren't on the website- they are Martha Stewart, a decent price, and anti-microbial, something I wanted), returned stuff to Macys (still have BBB to go), GOT MY PINK MIXER, and really went to town cleaning up the kitchen, dining room and living room this weekend. We had to reconfigure our cabinets and drawers with all the kitchen supplies we got, plus restocking our pantry- it was a nice puzzle to solve, that's for sure.

Now, we have to decide what we want to keep and what we should get rid of off the registries, then go and actually buy those items!

We are hoping this week and coming weekend we will be able to get my dresser and bookcase from my moms, drain the 55 gal fishtank and move the fish to a much smaller tank, take the tank out to storage, modify the TV stand, modify the microwave cart (adding doors for storage), build a custom low bookcase to hold the fishtank and books (which gets the books off the high bookcase, where we will be able to put our collectible items, get a new TV, put up all the frames (after framing certain items), put up some ledges to hold items, and rearrange the entire downstairs!

WHEW, I am tired just thinking about it. My only complaint (if you want to call it that) is that in our current space, the upright bookcase is just too big and massive for the space. I wanted to put that in storage as well (no way getting rid of it, as FIL built it for DH when he was born), and get something smaller, maybe a curio cabinet, to display things (which would also solve the problem of our kitty getting on the shelves and playing with the items on them), but DH really wants to keep it here. It's okay, it's a really nice piece, so I am okay with it- not really a complaint, just an irk.

Good morning all!

I had a nice, relaxing weekend for the most part but it always goes by too fast! We realized last night that FI is getting a big mole removed from his head on November 11th and we're supposed to have our engagement pictures done November 13th. Guess we will have to reschedule cause there is a good chance he will have a bald spot haha. Oh well! Health is more important :-)

Another Boo Monday from this girl....

I am extra exhausted because we had a wedding in MD - lots of time in the car + staying up late gallivanting. Haven't had time to grocery shop/do laundy for the week so I am feeling pretty behind. Plus we have a HUGE work event next weekend and I am scrambling with loose ends this week. Come on Friday!! Halloween weekend

Nicole - are you at Champps in KOP? We went there on Saturday but the wait for table was ridiculous, so we ended up at sitting at Fox & Hound all night. It was fine, but they were also showing UFC and it was really distracting (and gross).

Does KOP have a $10 cover? I had a table that ate 2 burgers. Total bill was $22.96. They gave me $24. Then asked me why they had to pay the $10 they weren't there for the fight. Seriously? You just left me a dollar and you want me to point you in the direction to get your money back?

That's lame!! There wasn't a cover when we arrived, but it was earlier, so we were clearly there for dinner/Phillies. We camped out at our table at F&H and I kept telling DH that we had to leave a really good tip since we weren't really ordering a lot after we finished. I kept thinking of you! haha

TY cara! I don't think many people realize "this lady isn't making money by us just sitting here" I had half decent half crappy tips. But since every one sat I didn't turn a lot of tables. It is what it is.

Yeah, that was the thing. I kept telling Rob I felt bad that we were taking up a table that someone else would sit at and order. So we ordered more drinks and a dessert, but I felt guilty. Everyone around us was doing the same though and the waitress never brought our check (which would have been the sign to get moving).

oh yes it is obvious that you aren't going anywhere on the game night. I didn't bring checks until the 9th unless some one asked for them.
