Can I poke your diet brain about sugar? I was told I need to cut out sugar and gluten (therapist said cut out completely, I'm slowly weaning because I'm a big sugar/gluten addict) and I can't think of anything I can eat without sugar! I swear it seems like every freaking thing in the store has sugar and I'm stuck

I normally have a bowl of cereal for breakfast (Frosted Flakes or Cheerios), then a sandwich (gluten), crackers (gluten) and yogurt (sugar) for lunch, and some sort of pasta thing (gluten, gluten, sugar in tomato sauce?) for dinner.
Help

(Other people help too, I know Ang is doing the insanity thing and has little knowledge of foods

)

[QUOTE] I think that Rice Chex are generally gluten free, and Corn Chex have more flavor but might contain gluten. They should both be relatively low in sugar.

THIS. They actully say on the box that they are Gluten Free. And there yummy :)
So do you want to cut fruits too or just table sugar anf fructose?

I'll have to try that Sarah. My mom does gluten free pastas which taste ok for me, but Scott hates them so yeah, that's a problem.

It's hard to find cereals that are completely sugar free, even my All Bran has fructose, which I was surprised. The thing to do is to find a cereal that is high in fiber and protein.
Something tells me my husband is going to rolling his eyes as we're grocery shopping lol.

I love them! I only get the original, not the raspberry or mint. I use low-fat vanilla yogurt to mix with it. So easy. So good.
[QUOTE]Going gluten/sugar free is expensive!

Yeah it is. Mom doesn't believe me when I tell her that either. It doesn't help that she gets knocked on her asss if she eats gluten, while I don't really notice a difference. I am curious if I cut down for a month what would happen with my weight though.

Cutting out just sugar will help so cutting gluten will too, maybe. More power to you though. I love me some bread.
[QUOTE]Oh if you want a good gluten free/sugar free protein bar try the Think Thin bars.
