I couldn't really see the flower until I enlarged the picture, and even then it's definitely not distracting. I like the dress but agree with Opalsky about tea length. It can look pretty matronly sometimes.
Do you guys think the dress would be better long? The wedding is in July so I just worry that they'll be too hot and be tripping over the dress as they walk down the aisle.
If the dress is hemmed properly, they shouldn't trip over it. What fabric is it made of? As long as it's not some kind of polyester that won't breathe, floor length won't make a huge difference as far as temperature goes. I have a long strapless dress I like to wear in the summer that's quite comfortable.
I really like cocktail length. I used to be all about long BM dresses, but cocktail has grown on me over the past couple years. I think either would look great; I would just be iffy on tea length.
I like the dress. If I were a bridemaid I wouldn't care so much about the lenght, I would care more about the style and the colour. The dress i picked for my BMs are tea lenght but we are getting them altered to be shorter just right above the knee. Some of the girls are shorter than others. The flower is not distracting at all.

Agreed. Some of your bridesmaids may need a hem length shorter than tea length ...
I don't think it's distracting either. If you don't like it, there's probably a way to remove it without ruining the dress. A seamstress could probably help with that.
As for long hemlines in summer, I know four girls who got married between the end of May and the end of August, and in three of the four weddings the BMs wore full-length dresses.
