Because the morning thread is getting too far down the page. Andplusalso, it's 5PM here. So, good evening. I'm mostly diiiicking around, but I'm trying to get a little cleaning done as well. I'm anxious for my parents to get home so my mom and I can finalize our side of the guest list!

    I just got home from work and grocery shopping a bit ago.  I'm heading out soon to go celebrate my dad's birthday at my parents' house.  I can never think of good gifts, especially for guys, so this year it's another Home Depot card. :-/

    ETA:  Oh shiiit, I just realized that I posted right after you, angelstar.  This won't be confusing at all, ha!.

    I'm sitting on the couch watching Unplugged-Gym Class Heros. Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy is on there and I'm absolutely amazed at how he looks. Hot damn, he can rock the geek look.

    I wish I had more money so I could just order 30 or 40 of each of the STDs I like and send them out to different people, haha. I'm too indecisive for just one. That would jack up the price by like $60 or more so obviously I can't justify that.

    Thanks, Eagles!  I had a bad day at work a few weeks ago and when I saw this pic, I couldn't help but laugh.  I put it as my sig on here because I hoped maybe it would do the same for someone else.  Mission accomplished. :)

    Which rides, Daff? I went on some rides at the boardwalk the other night and I must admit, I had a lot of fun, even though they were mainly kid rides.

    AStar, I almost did that with our thank-you cards.  I couldn't decide between two different ones and really wanted to order them both, but it would have cost quite a bit more.

    what's up?

     It's been raining off and on here, so we are just chilling watching Hardcore Pawn.    


    Finally the dogs have calmed down and are sleeping.   They had been driving me crazy with all their playing, barking and jealousy.

    I'm trying to figure out what to have for dinner. Nothing is appealing to me right now. 






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    We wanted trading cards for our Save the Dates, we also nixed the diea since it increased the price so much. And yes, we referred to them as trading cards.

    I was thinking about starting a new thread too, but since it is only 3:40 here I figured I'd wait a little longer.  Thanks for taking care of it :)

    I like the humid sig.  My hair does that in humidity.  One of the many reasons I like Denver better than Cleveland :).

    I put in "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy".  I've had it from Netflix for like 6 weeks now.  I'm only kind of watching it, so I have no idea what's going on.  I think this is one of those movies you have to actually watch, not just put on in the background.  I'm not interested enough to really watch it though.  And I'm knotting, and going through my baby names book.

    Ahh, the beach. I'm going down for the day with my friend on Tuesday and then for the weekend with my parents and FI on Friday. I would really like a new bandeau bikini so I can avoid tan lines, but since I can't really do cheap ones, that's not happening.

    AStar, even my bandeau tops are halter except one. I might try and find a new one soon but summer is almost over already so I can't decide if it's worth it or not.

    Evening all! I cant believe the weekend is almost over =( We had a bunch of people stay over at our place last night after the BBQ then we went down to the beach & had bruch by the boardwalk. FI & I were both pooped from yesterday so we took a nap as well. 

    Angel - I would definitely be so tempted to order a bunch of different save the dates, all your pictures turned out so nice! Have you decided on which one yet?

    I worked out and then showered and cleaned a bit.  Now I'm sitting with ice on my lower back because its been killing me and debating what I want for dinner.  I'll probably end up doing a chicken salad because I'm not feeling like cooking and I bought some grilled and ready chicken strips.

    I just went to Busch Gardens the other day with family here and had a blast riding all the roller coasters.  My cousins are 13-18 and I had no problem acting like a teenager with them for the day.

    The bandeau top I have comes with a removable halter strap... I love it. I can put it on when I go in the ocean to give it a little extra support and then leave it off the rest of the time.

    My first roller coasters were at that Busch Gardens.  My grandpa took me :).  I have fond memories of that.  I need to shower.  Eventually.  I should probably work out, but at this point, that is unlikely to actually happen today.

    Dileni, no, I haven't decided. I'm going to show my mom when she gets home and get her opinion. Oh, and I should probably ask FI, too. Heh.

    I also still need to shower. I toyed with the idea of working out, but the gym closes in less than an hour, so that's not happening. It's okay though, I aggravated my shoulder injury this week and while it feels much better today, I'd like to give it another day.
