Hi!! I'm getting married on April 14th, last week I went to go pick up my wedding dress to get started on alterations. I tried my dress on and it's huge!!! Even after they clipped it, it still looks big. The size that was ordered was the size that the sales consultant told me to get. They didn't have my size in the store, so I had to try on one that didn't zip up all the way.
Now I'm worried that A.) I'll have to spend a fortune on alterations and B.) after all the alterations it won't even look like the same dress! I'm going back to the bridal shop today to speak with the manager and to try my dress on for her. (the service at the shop has been wonderful BTW)
I guess my question is, will there even be time to order a new dress in a smaller size?! Should I request that the shop do that for me since the sales consultant told me to choose that size?
Any help would be great!!
