I somewhat have a feeling that people get unnecessarily jumped on for posting links to E threads because of all the boardwar crap and then people get suspicious. Posting links is nothing new by any stretch of the imagination, so I just dont get why this is an issue.

Yeah same here, really. I don't care if she posts links all day long. But usually, when people do that it's to bring attention to a certain topic that they want to talk about or point out.

From what I can tell, and correct me if I'm wrong, she just posted it to show that some poster who had a very controversial thread on board, also posted on a different board - about a completely different topic. That was it. Her OP was basically the link. Not even a "hey guys check this out, so and so said something about something. What are your thoughts on that?"

Does that makes sense? I know what I mean in my head but I don't always write it well.

But you're right Nebb, it is stupid.

K, lemme put it down for ya. Miss Amber here said (and I paraphrase) "whythehell does it matter what I post, if you don't like it, don't read it, kbye." But just yesterday, Amber linked to a post on E and said (again, paraphrasing) "Whythehell would you post that there, that's a dumb thing to post there."

So, my original point was that her original point was kind of hypocritical because she was criticizing someone for what they posted just yesterday, but then was yelling at people for criticizing what she posted today. Got me?

THEN I just carried away in the arguing because arguing is fun.

Except she didn't post anything earth shattering. She asked about what to do about her friend's abusive relationship. And like I said, it's not as though the dog thread was her first post ever. I've seen her post before, on National boards, including E. It just so happens that a lot of people on E saw her post yesterday and are giving her crap for it.

Don't get me wrong, I think M&R is a terrible human being, but this post wasn't necessary. The only way it's okay to post crossboard drama is if 1) it's in another thead 2) you're a regular and therefore coming over here to show it to your "friends" and 3) it's really, really good. This meets none of those criteria.

That does not in any way make me wrong about what I'm seeing. It just means you're trying too hard. You run around trying to tell people how to post on boards, then you post in a way that's completely contradictory to what you've been saying posting should be like. The board you tend to be running your mouth about is E and I happen to know that Snippy and a few others have given you quite a bit of grief over there. If you're annoyed about it, fine, but don't try and start policing the boards and then get mad when people call you out for breaking your own "rules". Posters have pissed me off before too, and I don't think all the crap you've gotten has been entirely deserved, but I'm sure everyone's gotten some unnecessary flaming before. And it just looks really petty when you do the things stated above. If you genuinely don't agree with someone about something, then say that, but don't try and tell people how to post. I did that once and it ended pretty terribly. The burned hand learns best and all that.

I dont think thats a very valid point - she isnt over here sniping about posters on E who have given her a hard time, she questioned the validity of a poster for whatever reason (i dont really CARE so dont bother telling me), and posted a link to this thread. She participated in the original dog thread, and so did quite a few SB posters, so why not. Maybe she thought they would want to see it too.
