Weekend Plans!

TGIF y'all!

Tonight: Going to a local bar/restaurant and hockey game with FI, FFIL and FI's BFF.

Tomorrow: Getting my wedding band resized (EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!), seeing Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (I'm probably gonna cry) with FI and FMIL and having dinner with some of FI's friends he hasn't seen since high school.

Sunday: Church (we're singing You Raise Me Up for choir and it's one of my favorites!) and a SuperBowl party!

What's everyone else up to?

Re: Weekend Plans!

  • I'm so glad that it's Friday!! Midge I can't wait to see that movie!

Tonight- I'm getting chicken together in the crock pot now so hopefully we have a good dinner and just relax and watch some of our dvr'd shoes.

Tomorrow- the usualy food shopping and such and then I'm watching my nephews tomorrow night, I can't wait! Fi is on call and my sisters house has horrible reception so he can't come, the boys will miss that.

Sunday- another hopefully relaxing day, probably breakfast with my parents and cousin and then Sunday night I think we're going to Fi's parents for the Super Bowl
  • Jess-I've heard you might want a box of tissues when you watch that one!

My grandparents are coming to stay with us until Wednesday so all plans are depending on how my grandfather is feeling but so far

Tonight: Zumba then take them out to dinner
Sat: Get my grandfather fitted for his tux for our wedding, take them to the aquarium, then we have our dance lessons (I think)
Sun: Church and watching the Superbowl

  • I'm lazy so I'm copying and pasting from the morning thread on SB lol

I am so glad it's Friday. Usually weeks fly by for me but this week was a huge exception. It dragged and it sucks. Blegh.

Tomorrow Fi and one of his groomsmen are getting together to work on their dance for the dance off at the reception. IDK why they are doing it so early. They'll forget it by then. I'm still so stuck on what to do. I thought about doing a Michael Jackson mini-medley with "The way you make me feel", "Thriller" and "Smooth Criminal" (maye in a different order though... idk. Well while they are doing that, one of my BMs is coming into town and we're going to go shopping. I'm excited to see her! Then Sunday I'm having lunch with my little sister (not really my little sis, it's with Big Brothers Big Sisters). We don't see eachother nearly as much as we used to when I was in college, so I'm excited to see her.
  • Chels, that is awesome. I want a dance-off reception but I know some of my BMs would kill me. They'll be plenty of dancing without it anyway. I hope you plan on taking video of that and sharing it with us.

Shan, you'll just get to have your nephews all to yourself! :)

Tiff, I know! I've been especially sensitive to crying lately too. I honestly think it's the BCP. Example: I've seen Toy Story 3 and cried in the theater when they're all holding hands thinking they're going to be burned alive in the dump. I was watching it yesterday, knowing that they end up fine, and I still teared up. I think I'm out of luck for not crying tomorrow.

  • Jess I heard that movie is so sad!

Tiffany have fun with your grandparents!

So glad it's Friday! Today I'm leaving around 2 to travel to NC!

Tomorrow we're signing the contract for the house! I'm so excited. We're also taking FI's family to see it. We'll most likely go out to dinner at night

Sunday: driving back to PA! And watching the Super Bowl

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Of course! The guys are convinced it's gonna get a million youtube hits. Whatever they are doing is completely choreographed so idk how they'll pull it off. But if they do, we're in trouble. I am sooooo tempted to break into FI's facebook and see what song they have so we can be more prepared, but I can't bring myself to be that sneaky
  • Happy birthday and engagement-versary to all whom it applies! :)

Cwill, your dinner sounds amazingly delicious. I love parmesan encrusted anything.

Brooklyn, I love surprises! So much fun and very sweet.
  • Ash, I haven't read the book but I probably will eventually. Hopefully this year.

Chels, that makes me so happy, I can't wait to see it.
  • Cwill & Brooklyn - Happy Birthday!! Enjoy your weekends!

  • I knew it was Friday, but didn't really REALIZE what day it was today (if that makes any sense?!) so I am super excited! Haha. We're still not doing anything huge (as usual). Today: One Bootcamp under my belt, then ballet, and another class--I'm taking a Marriage and Family Relationships class just for fun, and I really like it (it's kind of fitting too, since I'm about to be MARRIED!) Then later, Bootcamp class #2, and probably watching some tv, and eating dinner (chicken and vegetables...again). Saturday: I think FI and I are going to Birmingham (a bigger city than where we live, about an hour away) to look for a place to get FI's suit made, and hopefully (if FI can put up with it) will go to Saks to buy my wedding shoes. And working out. Sunday: Watching the Super Bowl, and then probably start to study for a test I have on Tuesday.

  • I'm so glad it's Friday as well.

Tonight: My mom is taking my son to his basketball game, then he's sleeping over my brothers, so KID FREE tonight! Going to a benefit/fundraiser for a local guy who had a crazy accident when he turned the wrong way and was paralized from the waist down. My aunt knows who he is so she's been helping to raise funds for his medical bills and making his home handicapped accessible. So, tonight we will be going to the - me, my aunt (BM), my uncle (who's walking me down the aisle), and a few others. FI is going to meet up with us when he gets out of work at 10pm. Because it's from 7pm - 12am, we may end up going somewhere else after that. We're just going to play it by ear.

Tomorrow: Cleaning, laundry, maybe grocery shopping. Possibly going with my niece (MOH) for a mani/pedi. She's going for her license today and I just know she's going to get it so I want to do something special with her.

Sunday: Church, Spaghetti "supper" with my mom, my son, and maybe FI for my niece's cheerleading squad. At 5pm, all of my girls are meeting at my house so any unnessesary "drama" can come to a halt and everyone can get along again like they were before they started planning my Jack & Jill. Then, watching the Super Bowl with my son while FI is at work :( Probably make up a few different finger foods we can eat instead of making a sit down dinner for the two of us.

  • Kris, that is so sad but I'm glad they have a benefit for him and you're going!
  • TGIF is right!!

Tonight: Heading up to Minneapolis to visit my best friend from college and I am picking up my other best friend from college on my way there. It is going to be a blast!!

Tomorrow: Driving back from friends in Minneapolis.... spending the rest of the day with Carter.

Sunday: Sunday school, church, grocery shopping and I suppose watching the Super Bowl.

  • Today: Work then going to pick up a birthday gift for my mom so I can mail it to her in FL

Tomorrow: cleaning the house and getting together with a good friend who I haven't seen in a couple of months. We are over due for some girl talk =)

Sunday: Super Bowl party at FILs house

  • Tonight- I have to work :(

Saturday- FI and I have errands to run like grocery shopping. I also plan on stopping at Michael's and getting some random DIY supplies I haven't gotten yet. One of my bridesmaids are getting married next Saturday so tomorrow night I am going over to her house to help make decorations. (She got engaged December 30th and planned the wedding for 02/11/12 so needless to say we haven't had a ton of time to get things done!

Sunday- I have to work Sunday morning and then prepare for the crazy that will be going on at my home for the Superbowl! FI is a Pats fan so we aren't attending any parties, or having one. He needs to watch his team with no distractions, lol.

We're on the same page. I forget what movie we saw recently that was so light-hearted but I was bawling my eyes out through the entire thing. When the lights came back on in the theater, I looked around - clearly I was the ONLY person in there that was so touched by it.

Aw. :) I tear up at the Hunger Games trailer but I think that's only because I've read the books and I know what all goes on.
  • Today: Work all day :( The going to get my hair cut and colored. Fi doesn't close at work tonight so I think we might go see a movie. We haven't done that lately. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Saturday:Nothing really planned yet. Maybe start printing the invites and clean the house. I also need to make my Boston Cream Pie cupcakes for the superbowl party.

Sunday: Fi has the day off and we are going to his bosses house for a superbowl party. Its a really fun party because every year everything is themed to match the teams playing including all the food.
