Alcohol question

Me and my FI have to provide our own alcohol for our wedding and I wanted to know if there was a liquor super store anywhere in Pittsburgh or within 2-3hours drive of Pittsburgh. We don't need beer, that's covered. Just trying to get a good price on bulk vodka, rum and such. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you know ane military member, liquor is cheaper on the base.  Or if you know any owner or manager of a restaurant really well i.e. close friend of you, FI or your parents, you can ask them if they would be willing to help you get a bulk discount when they place their regular order.

Remember you can return any unopened bottles to the liquor store.

There is a sort of liquor warehouse in Pittsburgh, but you have to have a specific license or certification or be on some list to get in. You must own or manage a bar/restaurant though to even obtain that license/certification.

Since the PA's alcohol sales are heavily controlled, your best bet may be to go to a state, like West Virginia or Maryland, that sells alcohol at grocery stores or Costco. And like PP said, you are able to return unopened bottles within a certain time frame.

Washington mall.... Dont get cheap alcohol. Get at the least, middle of the road. Cheap alcohol not only tastes horrible but will get people sick if they drink a lot. My sister had cheap alcohol to try and save money and a lot of guests got sick. Our wedding we went middle of the road and people drank more and no one was sick.

FYI. transporting large quantities of alcohol across state lines is a crime.
