Well after 9 hours my FFIL is out of surgery and on the road to recovery. They ended up having to do a quintuple (5) bypass to get his heart pumping correctly. They also had to cut open his leg to get veins to use for the heart. They were supposed to do it orthoscopically, but apparently they couldn't and had to open it up instead. We've heard from other people that the pain in the leg can be worse than the pain in the chest after. He will be unconsious for about 2 days in the ICU so we will go visit him on Sunday before my bridal shower. He should make a full recovery though. Most likely they won't be able to make our wedding, which he is very upset about, but all that matters to us is his health... Thanks for the thoughts and prayers ladies.
