[QUOTE]In Response to Re: It's not fair! Whines? : That's right, Jareth. I couldn't remember his name. I need to watch that movie again, if for no other reason than to see David Bowie in his super tight pants.

Labyrinth is one of my all-time favorite movies.  My gay friend in high school used to joke that it starred "David Bowie and The Package".  A recurring theme in that movie is, indeed, Sarah crying about things that aren't fair.  :)

I am blessed with a FI who is an auto mechanic, so oil changes and other car stuff don't faze me too much.

I'm not sure I have anything to validly whine about right now.  Although I'm with  the PPs discussing shellfish- FI is allergic so I don't eat it too often (even the smell of shrimp or crab cooking sometimes makes him nauseous).

  • Raynes, I hope you like your scallops with some tunes.

  • Alas, I have to go and get some work done. Good call on the club, Nebb. ;) See you ladies later!
  • They are perfect NS.

It's always been one of my all time faves too.  My HS friend came to my house once to watch it.  I had the VHS complete with the making of stuff on it.  We watched the whole thing and it totally ruined the entire movie for her.  She did not know that Bowie had stunt doubles for the stairway scene.  She complained about it for months.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

I want to see behind the scenes of Labyrinth!  He also didn't do the ball flipping thing.  Those are someone else's hands.
