Are you all having a limo for you/your wedding party? If so, multiple limos or one big one?
I'm at this point in my planning process, and to be perfectly honest, I have no idea what I should be looking for... I also have no idea what a good price is either... and I know that's more of a "depends on where you live" thing... but the Western MA board is dead so it's impossible to get local input...

Thoughts?

We're on the north shore. We're paying $358 for 3 hours with a 10 person limo. We only have to people in the wedding party, us, and the photographer, who will be picked up at our hotel, brought to some beaches to take pics, and then dropped off at the venue (ceremony and venue are in the same place). We're paying $100 for a town car to pick just the two of us up and drive us back to the hotel.

@melb- I'm jealous of that price! Since our wedding is on Kentucky Derby weekend, and a lot of people rent limos in Cincy to take to the Derby, we are stuck with companies with 12 hour limits and prices over 1k

We have a total of 19 people in our wedding party (which includes Ushers). We booked a Limo Bus.

@melb - can I ask what company you are using? I'm in the boston area and haven't figured transportation out yet. I've been putting it off because it seems pricey, but that doesn't seem too bad.

We're using Ludwig Limos. Russo's Limos had pretty much the same price, but that three hours of time includes their travel time to our location and back, and Russo's is 30-45 minutes away. Ludwig is on the north shore already, but they don't charge for travel time anyway.

Our is going to be 1000$ for full day service. They will take us back and forth as many times as needed. We have 2 limos. I think it's stupidly expensive.

We haven't booked anything yet, as the hotel we're staying at will provide the shuttle to our venue for the WP (ladies first to get ready, then the guys a bit later). Our ceremony & reception are at the same venue, so no need there, and after the reception, we're walking across the street to our afterparty.

FI and I have discussed having a car pick us up from the afterparty to our hotel, since we're not staying at the same hotel for our wedding night.

We are, however, having a towncar take us to the airport for our honeymoon, and pick us up.

I'm in Minnesota - twin cities area. I just booked our limo today, 16 passenger luxury coach (looks like a small bus) for 2 hours for $453.60 which includes tax & gratuity. We will have plenty of room for the WP of 9 and could even include our 3 ushers if we decide to later....just need to make sure their vehicles get to the reception somehow.

We are using the town trolley! 5 a person for a 2 mile trip there and no service back.
