If I were you and I was told the true motivations, I"d be mildly annoyed and decline, but I wouldn't be pissed off by any means. It just saddens me when people are more concerned about $150 than being honest to people that they consider friends.

Papa Johns RUINS all their pizzas by putting a freakin pepper in the box. The whole thing tastes like peppers. I forbid my roommates from ordering it on our way home from the bars. We stuck with Gumby's instead. Pokey sticks, anyone?

They never listened. Granted, this was always at like 2am when we called when we were walking home from the bars, so I'm sure they didn't really care and had like 862 other phone calls coming in.

Oh yeah, Garlic butter sauce! Mmmmm, so delicious! We have to drive to get Papa Johns, but it's always so good.

We had Gumby's at Virginia Tech. My roomie always liked to order pokey sticks after a night at the bars.

Bay, sorry you were so bored. I've been home all day, and am just about to get in the car. But I was busy doing stuff around the house. Plus, if I really needed something, my town is walkable.

I didn't think the Papa John's pepper made the whole thing taste like pepper. I just let someone else eat the pepper. We used to order PJ's in college and if was nice we'd walk across the street and pick it up and if it was crummy out we'd have them deliver it to us. It seriously was a 2 minute walk - past 4 townhouses and across the street.

Peppers ae proabbly the food I hate most in this world. I had a greek omelet at breakfast the other day - a piece of green pepper made it's way in. I couldn't eat any more after that. haha. The whole thing was contaminated.

Papa John's. It's a pepperoncini they put in the box. I never thought the whole thing tasted like them either. But if someone has an aversion to a particular food it's presence can sometimes be more overwhelming to them than others.

I'm enjoying my last week of unemployment. We're getting our new washer and dryer delivered tomorro evening so we have to shuffle some stuff around to clear a path for them.

I was once invited to an old family friend's new home, under the pretense of seeing it and having dinner. Before dinner even started he launched into an Amway presentation. He was into it before I realized, so I kinda had to suck it up and sit through it. When I said no, at the end, and after a few times of repeating no... I was shown the door. Without dinner. And he hasn't spoken to me since. That was...wow, about 20 years ago.
