Something for the Ring Bearer to hold the rings in?

My nephew is my ring bearer and he is more than excited to do this for us! I want to have a Romantic Southern wedding theme, so can anyone give me some cool ideas on how he can carry the rings down the isle... I really dislike the idea of tying the rings to a pillow, so any other suggestions? I was thinking a wooden box or something, I just can't find anything on the internet that looks nice....

I got mine on etsy. We had a ring bearer pillow that was moss on a birch bark base for the ceremony but we also got a small hinged box that we both keep our rings in now. https://www.etsy.com/transaction/83693350

ETA- Just noticed our small box is from the same shop as the PP listed for the heart-shaped box. I can vouch for this seller; we also got our cake topper from her and she is great to work with!

You can get a little wood treasure chest at hobby lobby and paint it or stain it as you like and he can carry the rings.

We are using this wooden plate that I got at AC moore.

Our ringbearer was able to paint it and decorate it as he pleased from the supplies i approved. it was fun for him to make something that he would actually use.

the rings will just sit on the plate.

David's Bridal has this cute little silk box to put the rings in.. I thought it was a cute idea and might use it since we are having our wedding on the beach.

I got a thick cardboard book from Michael's and am painting it gold with white accents! I loved the hollowed out book idea, but didn't have the heart to cut out a book...haha...so this was my alternative.
