    Wow. You didn't bother to return them?

    I once got a bunch of other people's (cancelled) checks in the mail from my bank. I promptly returned them, with a note saying how totally unprofessional it was and that they should probably really look into the issue and make sure no one underhanded has received that kind of personal information from them, and changed banks. I did not keep someone else's check stubs and post them on the internet for the world to see.

    And yes that was a HIPAA violation, which was why I sent them back to my medical department with a formal letter stating that the x-rays weren't mine. If you are insinuating that it's a HIPAA violation that I posted them here, then it's actually not. It would have been had I posted her social security number or something, but I did not.

    As you can see in my PP, I returned them. Same day, in fact. I hand carried them downstairs to our medical department in a newly sealed envelope. So, clearly, you are wrong.

    Any personal medical information made public to a party not immediately involved in the medical process nor given express written permission by the patient is a HIPAA violation. Luckily there's no name attached, but be careful.

    Yeah, yeah, we get it, acronyms are not my strong suit. Did youhave to Google it? I didn't, at least I understand the principles of it. You recieved something in error and not only did you take a picture of the two views, but you saved it, and just posted it on a public message board.

    I may not remembe abbreviation rthe HIPAA, but for f*cks sake, I didn't pull some random girls Xray off my hard drive to make a point. And I was trying to truly get a clear story from you, if you didn't want to share, walk away.
