My photographer/best friend just put up our wedding page on her website - so exciting to finally see pictures!! We're meeting up this weekend so she can give me all of them, she said there's about 700 not including my trash the dress pics which she's still going through!

Oh and some tips I've determined based on my pictures - don't forget to reapply lipstick if you lick it off and hold your bouquet lower down the stems

Was it a pain wearing heels in the sand? Your shoes were adorable

Do you regret having your hair down (heat)? That's the style I want but I've heard all up is best.

Look at you rocking those heels in the sand! Your photos are gorgeous, you and your new hubby look sooo happy and looked like everyone had a great time...what more can you ask for. I want your wedding! It looks beautiful! I have to share these pics with my FI! You and your groom are adorable! I freakin love your heels & i especially like the photo of you alone looking down with the bright blue ocean behind you. I too wanna know about the hair since i plan do wear mine that way. Yeah, my friend did an a-maz-ing job with our pics!

Ok, to the questions:

Heels in the sand - I LOVED my shoes but talk about comedy of errors haha, they were a pain in the butt to walk with in the sand! I debated taking them off til we got to the next location my friend wanted to shoot at but it was easier to just leave them on. If anyone is getting married on the beach I would NOT wear heels, but you could always wear them for the reception. If you're just going to be on the beach for pictures I'd slip them on and off....unless you want a juxtoposition picture, it does look kind of cool being in stilettos on sand

Having my hair down - As hot as I got and as much trouble as I had trying to keep it down in pictures with wind blowing it was totally worth it!! I love having long hair and I knew I wanted it down on my wedding day, and really, if you have a vision of how you want to look it's worth suffering a little to get it

To be honest because it was so windy I wasn't really hot until the reception - at night apparently the wind completely stopped and it got crazy humid so I was a bit damp after the reception haha.

Ok will second MemeGrace's ?'s. Di you use a planner? We were thinking of using a planner with a basic package and then handling our decos and flowers ourselves. Did you bring your own linens? We were thinking of making our own and bringing them. Currently working out some of the logistics with Susan so hopefully in the next week or two we will be booked. Your pics are amazing and you both look so happy.
