Agreed. Aren't sweeping generalizations fun?!? I happen to love Family Guy and I promise I'm not a dirty old man in my basement.

But I do enjoy Family Guy.  I love its random references to things like musicals.  Come on, how many straight guys actually know the words to "Shipoopi"?

<div>We are abstaining mainly because I'm going into the military and getting pregnant would delay my entry into basic training.  And I'm at the upper end of enlistment eligibility for the AF (I'm gonna be 27 in March and maximum age is 28).   </div><div>
</div><div>I am on BC, but it's a personal decision between the two of us to abstain at least until our wedding night...maybe even until I get out of basic training.  We have had sex before and have always used protection, but it's just easier not to have it and not chance it.  I cannot get pregnant until at least after basic training.   </div><div>
</div><div>As far as the cyst thing goes, it's gotten better since I went on BC.  I did get a few removed a couple of years ago, and my OB/GYN said that if I take BC it will help control them (Some popped up again in an annual exam)  If I have surgery everytime one pops up, I will be having surgery every couple of months lol.  At my last exam, my Dr. said that BCP helps keep them under control, so I started that a couple of months ago.  </div>

True.  I do love those random pieces in the show.  I just get tired of seeing it over and over.  But the musicals are priceless, and FI never realized how many there were until he started watching with me and I'd say "Oh that's from Sound of Music!" and sing along.

I like American Dad, and I liked some of the earlier FGs. In particular, I love the one where they go into the Witness Protection program and hide in the south. Favorite episode ever.
In Response to Re: I don't get.. : Yes, during a cystectomy, but it's an actual surgery.  Most cysts (I'm assuming we're talking ovarian here) will be absorbed into the tissue over time, so surgery isn't generally recommended.   Also, once they are removed, it doesn't prevent new cysts from emerging, even in the same place.
Posted by dumdumfroggie
<div>This is exactly what happened to me.  My doctor did surgery the first time and we were gonna do surgery again this time around, but when I went in for my pre-op, the cyst we were gonna remove resolved itself.  And another one popped up on the opposite side.  That's when he recommended BCP as a method of keeping them under control.  </div>

• Special that one is awesome.

I do not have any problem with people having ovulation things in their sigs. It used to be you could have different sigs for TK, TN, and TB. You can't now. If it's easier to update the sig than a link then so be it. I just skip over it. I also know that those that typically have those things in their sig are havving issues conceiving and it's not my place to tell them how to deal with it since, you know, I'm not in their shoes.
