One BM told me it's cute and loves it.. another said it was stupid and I shouldn't do it.
Every time FI and I talk about him wearing a ring, he says he doesn't want to, that it's uncomfortable, he doesn't wear jewelry, etc... so my reply always is... buddy, even if I have to crazy glue it to your finger, you are wearing it!! lol
So the other day at the store I find these tiny tubes of crazy glue and thought.. how funny would it be if when the officiant tells me to put the ring on his finger, I turn to my BMs and they each pull out the tiny glue tube and pretend to put glue on it.. then put it on his finger. I think that would be really funny! I know he would get a huge kick out of it.
I'm always joking around and saying/doing silly things, so it wouldn't be out of character for me to do something like that.
One BM loved the idea and was very excited about it because she knows how I am. Another one said, it would ruin the moment, that it would take away from the meaning of it.
I think it would be really funny. I'm also thinking of adding to my vows "I promise to let you keep cooking for me almost every night"... another running joke between us.
Am I wrong here? Is it stupid and it will ruin the moment?
