So, FI's cousin (who will be 5 at the time of the wedding) is our FG. FI's aunt asked the other day about what I was thinking about her dress. So I started looking around and there are so many choices!!! White or brown (like the BMs)? pattern or solid? Short or long? Simple or sparkly?

I think we're going to go shopping together to try stuff on, but I'm not even sure where to go. A lot of bridal shops are crazy expensive.

What are you ladies doing for your FGs? Where did you look and/or buy?

We have 2 FG's and they are FI's nieces. I am leaving it up to the FG's mom to pick the dress but I have to approve it. She sent me a link to one that she likes and I'm ok with it. It's from David's Bridal and they are going to get a sash to match my colors.

We aren't having FG just JR BM. I know a lot of people go to Kohl's, Penny's and place like that after Easter and find amzaing dresses at a fraction of the bridal store prices.

One of FI's groomsmen's daughter (who will also be 5 at the time of the wedding) is going to be our flower girl. We discussed this and we "trust" for lack of a better work he and her mothers taste to pick out a cute dress for her. I plan to just tell her our color and show her BM dresses and my dress and i have no worries that they will pick something nice out. FI felt like this was the best way to handle the flower girl dress situation. As mentioned in a PP, her dad is already in the wedding and paying for his tux rental and such, so we want to give them some flexibility.

JC Penny's has a line called American Princess. There's a bunch of styles in white dresses that are TOO CUTE - and only $40!!!!

My niece is going to be my flowergirl (she'll also be 5 at the time of the wedding). Since she is also my sister's FG here in May and her parent's had to fork over a lot of money for a dress for sister's wedding, I told her mom (SIL) to just get a cute white dress sometime around Easter that has a sash or a belt. We'll make a sash in one of my colors for her to wear. If it weren't for the fact that her dress for sister's wedding is a mini version of sister's gown, I would have FG just wear the same dress.

We're doing the same thing as a lot of you other girls. We've already been looking at stores that have put some of their easter dresses out. We bought a dress pants and a vest and a tie for our ring bearer already and are just looking for something to match him. I think it will be a little difficult tho to find something brown/ivory for her tho because all of the easter stuff is of course bright colors and white. I don't want a stark white dress considering we are doing a fall wedding and my dress is ivory. We've got a while yet to plan. And her mom is on the lookout at well. Which I trust her opinion, and she has seen the outfit we bought for our ring bearer.

My niece will be 4 at the time of our wedding and we just bought hers at Target! It's super cute and only $25! It goes perfect with our wedding! It's this dress, only in ivory. We bought it in the store.

I might have to go check out Target! Thank you RunNanny... I haven't seen a lot of dresses in ivory, FI and I are actually going to be near a Target tonight, lol. So I will make him take me. Thank you!!

I'm thinking about making tutus in our color scheme for the FGs. So it would be tutus with white leotards. If we decide to go the more tradition route, we will probably go shopping at Macy's or Penny's to look for a pretty white dress.

No problem! I got it in the girls section, not the toddler/baby section. She is very small for her age but the XS will fit her perfectly this fall. Hope you find what you are looking for!
