It's super humid here today, but not actually hot (?) but I'm going to brave it and make a chicken tagine today. Go me! What's everyone up to?

Here at work. It's humid this morning, and it's supposed to get even worse as the afternoon progresses.

Counting the hours until I get out of work today so I can hang out with FI, my sister, and some friends of ours.

Good morning!

I'm still on my wedding kick from yesterday... got what felt like a million little things accomplished yesterday and I'm right back on my roll today.

Setting up meetings with the necessary VIPs at the church, addressing & mailing RD invites, keeping an eye on an incoming package (camo vests for the tuxes... and now that they're coming I'm actually pretty excited to see them).

ALSO - LVB if you jump on this thread today CONGRATS ON THE JOB!! I was just catching up from last night's posts and saw your AW.

And you are going to look SO FINE in that dress.

Morning ladies! My stomach feels icky today and I'm not happy about that.

I have had it with my FMIL pushing and pushing to stay with us the week before the wedding. We're going to have a million things to get done and we already have one couple staying with us (FI's fault, but they're way lower maintenance than having the FILs there) and we already told them no TWICE. I told FI that if she insists and they stay there, I'm taking all of the projects that have to get done and taking them to a friend's house and staying there to finish them in peace. /rant

Morning. I'm gearing myself up to go into work for an hour or so, just to get my bulletin boards (the bane of my teaching existence) started. Then it is off to my favoritest store in the whole world (Home Depot) for 8' furring strips, a gallon of Drylock, and some concrete nails. Woo-hoo!

Morning

Don't even talk to me about humidity....

We are 99% sure H got the job and that he starts on Saturday. That now means I am stuck on this mountain top 5 days a week with no car.
As for today, I spent it sanding the varnish off of all the wood trim in the house so I can paint it white.

I'm going to go drown myself in whats left of the ice cream.

And sarabellam, why is it that teachers hate bulletin boards so much? I'm a teacher too, and hate them as well, but can never decide why I do.

Sarah, remember when I asked if you thought No More Nails would hold the light? The answer is no. Heh. Even though it ate through the paint covering the concrete, it won't hold the light. Interesting, eh?

Guys, I'm not always that productive. Most of the time, I've done nothing but shower by the time you get up. lol

I used to have a really nice one from Le Creuset, but I didn't use it enough and I gave it to a chef friend of mine before I moved to DC. I miss it. :-(</div>

I just want to make it through the day. Luckily I only have until 3:30 when H picks me up from work and we drive 15 hrs to Chicago for my grandma's funeral. On top of that on my plate this week my grandpa on my other side of the family is dying so I'll be visiting him. This weekend is going to suck the big one

Morning. This is my second day of staying home from work. I have this stupid headache that I can't kick. I went to the doctor yesterday and he is treating me as if I have a sinus infection but I don't think that's what I have. Ugh.

I know how that feels. H is telling me about 3 times year that the people in his office are getting together for whatever party and that he'll be home late from work. It sucks. Not only are we SOs not invited, but now I have to make dinner and eat alone. Thanks H's work!
