Bridal Party Gifts

I was originally going to do towel wraps, but I am thinking now about doing monogrammed totes and stuffing them.

FI is also thinking about doing monogrammed gym bags.

The question is, what do we stuff them with?

Thanks!!

I only have 4 girls and so I decided to spend a little bit more money on their gifts. This is what I am doing:
    1. Coach wristlet from Coach outlet (with coupon)
    2. A small piece of jewelry from Tiffany's or someplace nice like that
    3. $25 Gift Card to Sephora (I was going to pick something out, but I thought it would be easier to just let them go get what they want)
    4. Some sort of upscale body cream with stylish packaging
    5. Tatcha blotting papers (I know, kind of random, but I thought these were really neat and they can use them the day of the wedding)

Amy got us cute earrings to wear with our dresses for the wedding and those towel wraps which were sooo perfect bc we were able to wear them when we got our hair and makeup done.  you could do flipflops, wedding day jewlery, mints, travel size mirrors, mini lip glosses. just cute fun stuff for the day of when getting ready or afterwards.

Are you guys also paying for their hair and makeup? I am, but I know that my friends won't appreciate that gift unless its something tangible.

I'm going to the flea market this Sunday. I hope they have a lot to choose from.

I am paying for their make-up. They are all going to their own beauticians for their hair.

I like the ideas you got above... maybe a clutch or keychain or something, maybe a necklace or earrings, maybe some kind of lotion or lipgloss or something? Bridesmaids Tanks? Pashminas? I'm sure anything cute will work...

I ended up doing little bags (throwaway ones) but I put in it the Personalized Wine Glasses I got them, Necklace and Earrings set and Pashminas.

Then I also paid for hair and makeup!

The Pashminas I got were great and reallly inexpensive (like $6 each) et me know if you want the link to the co I got them from...

i'm doing hair, makeup and jewelry.  I'm not doing a tote but I'm going to put the jewelry in a gift bag.  I like Jaime's idea of a Pashima which is great if it's slightly chilly inside the venue.

I got monogrammed totes - inside I put a pack of solemates for their shoes www.thesolemates.com since it's a lawn ceremony, a giftcard to the spa for their massage, a shirt that says bridsmaid, and a cute make up bag.

    Hi Jillian,

I'm paying for the girls' hair & make-up and giving them the jewelry for them to wear the day of the wedding. I love the idea of mints, creams, travel mirrors, and key chains to fill the totes. The Doubletree Merchandise Mart (not sure if you're familiar with it) has a store for pashmina-wannabe wraps for $2.99 that are super pretty! I also love the idea of giving the girls certificates for manis/pedis.

For the guys, I think the gym bag idea is awesome! Some ideas for fillers could be little towels (for the gym), a valet bag, keychains, cologne, after shave, certificate for a nice shave (Dadeland mall has an awesome new place for that), a money clip with their initials on it, cufflinks, or a nice glass (like what Jaime did for her girls).

    HTH!

You're very generous for paying for their hair & makeup, plus other things!!  How about jewerly you would like them to wear?  Things Remembered has really cute mirror compacts you can engrave.  If you get them during a good sale, they are like $15.  What about flip flops for the night of in case their feet hurt?  I like the idea of monogrammed makeup bags...

I am doing personalized totes with the jewerly that they will wear for the wedding, those fun personalzied martini glasses, flip flops (for the reception), and wraps to get their hair and make up done in. I also may throw in other little things like a nail file and shiny lip gloss..

i emailed them a "bridesmaid questionnaire" when i first asked them to be my bridesmaids where i asked them: fave color, shoe size, shirt size, fave candy.  i ended up getting them totes in their fave color, a makeup bag (with tools for a mani), nail polish, lip gloss and their favorite candy/chocolate.  i might also get them flip flops...

we got the guys a monogramed pocket tool

I would stuff the bags with things that not only represent not only you and your fiancee as a couple, but also things that you know that wedding party will like.  They will always remember you when they see the items and they will love them because they are useful ( i.e. my fiance and I enjoy wine so our gifts to our out of town guest are wine accessories and our favorite wine).  So go with what represent you!

Married my best friend 11/20/2010! Expecting our little blessing 09/09/2012!
