I think we sent ours out shortly after the wedding invites went out. But we were inviting all OOT guests, so we wanted to give them time to plan.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
Ours went out about 3 weeks in advance, but I was hoping they would have gone out sooner. I'd say anytime between 3 and 6 weeks in advance. They don't need to go out super early because most people in the WP assume they will need to also clear their schedule the night before the wedding for the RD.
I think it depends on how big your invite list it. If it's only immediate family and BP, they all pretty much know that the rehearsal is a day or two before the wedding. So a few weeks notice makes sense. But if it's for all OOT guests too, I would say as soon as wedding invites go out. Sometimes, people have the RSVP card include the rehearsal dinner. So, it's 2 in 1. HTH.
