Good morning, happy Friday! (only three days until Monday, Anna!)

I'm going to a Girl Scout event this weekend that's supposed to be really huge. I'm very excited about it. H told me last week he knew where my camera charger was, so I've been asking him all week to get it for me. He's currently upstairs digging around looking for it. I sure hope he can find it.

I'm in a great mood despite being super exhausted. Today is employee appreciation (ha) day at work and I came in to a bag of stuff. Nice bag I can reuse, one of those plastic to-go cups with a straw (I love straws), a company shirt (that I'll give to H for work), and some chocolate bars. And a raffle ticket. I hope I win something.

But mostly I'm still excited from yesterday, since my book proof came in the mail and I was able to approve it. I know that doesn't mean much to anyone else, but it feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. The book is for my grandparents, and now I know they'll get to see it while they can still enjoy it (Mema is showing signs of possible alzheimers and Papa has lots of health issues). I don't even care if anyone else likes it, so long as they do.

Hmmm lets see, I got more than 8 hours sleep lastnight, we're having a luncheon at work and its at a place where I could order a sandwich and a salad, I have NOTHING planned this weekend (next 3 weekends are a very different story) and I feel fantastic.

Morning! Last night we went out for dinner/drinks with friends for FIs birthday. We didn't go to bed until a little after 1am and I thought it would have been more brutal when the alarms went off at 5am. With that said, I'm sure I will crash early afternoon and be exhausted. We are getting the keys to the new place this afternoon and then moving this weekend. It would be easy but I normally don't get home until 6 or later from work, I have a fitting tomorrow, and FI works all day Sunday. Should be interesting to see how this all plays out! Pirate, have fun at your event! Sesh, sounds like lots of good things going on for you and that's pretty awesome!

Morning. I'm so tired! Our dog got me up in the middle of the night to go outside and then spent 15 minutes taking her time. Then I woke up this morning and rolled over and my leg went directly into where she threw up so I'm having to strip my bed and get it in the wash before I leave for work. Tomorrow is our first game so we will be running around like crazy. Oh, And while typing that, Sadie started running in the general direction of birds that were flying in a flock and her ears looked like wings and it was adorable.

Morning! I am so glad the weekend is almost here. I can't wait to do a whole lot of nothing and relax. I may try and talk FH into a movie tomorrow. Did anyone see Snow White yet? Is it worth seeing? One of the applicants we interviewed yesterday seemed excellent. This makes me feel slightly less screwed that my coworker is leaving. However, this person would still only stay about one year which i have a major issue with. Hope everyone has a great Friday!

So glad it's Friday. My boss has been in Norway for work this week so we have had to pick up his anchor shifts. I'm so tired. Beh. Got my hurr did last night, I look good today! Haha. This is kind of Debbie Downer but a friend of mine from childhood, I found out last week is carrying a baby who wont live outside the womb. She is 20 weeks. She posted this morning that they are thinking of getting a dog so she has someone to cuddle with since her H works nights, and when she is alone she just sits there in her grief. Poor woman.

I want to see Snow White. I've heard some negative reviews, but I don't care. I'm going to see it anyway.

Crap, duds reminded me. I have to go to a party tomorrow for some horse race going on. It's being hosted by H's friend's girlfriend, who is very snooty. So are her friends. They don't talk to us when we're around and give us the "you're a peon" look, I guess because we're not of the elite rich crowd. Fun times!

Morning!!

My new job is sucking up all my TK time. Boo. Other than that, I LOVE it. SO fun. I love where I work, I love the kids I work with, I love the values of the child development program, I love the company, etc. AND I just got promoted to permanent (originally I was seasonal) so I get full benefits starting monday. This is good because I need glasses, I need to renew my contact prescription, and I need fillings.

Morning! Busy morning in the office, but it's a good kind of busy, not crazy-pulling-my-hair-out kind of busy.

Not much going on tonight since we have a costume party to go to tomorrow night. I know our friend is DJing at a club in Ft Lauderdale so we might make an appearance to show our support since it might be our last time to hang out with him and his wife before we move.

And OMG I'm watching Good Morning America right now and there's a clip on that girl who faked cancer to keep her FI from leaving her and got all that free stuff. She still doesn't think it's wrong and isn't sorry.

I just watched that same story chels. That chick is disgusting for real. I have a wedding tomorrow, too. It's the one we aren't invited to, but my in laws were and they are bringing all the kids and grand kids. It's the wedding of their best friends son. I am dreading this.

I stayed over 2 hours late last night at work, and I got in half an hour early today. I'm hoping I can finish up stuff and ditch out an hour early or so. I have to be back on campus this weekend too for a few events. boo.

Oh don't worry chels. They rsvp'd for all of us. So it's no big deal. ...yeah. Two were invited and the RSVP says 13. I guess we are good to go though because no one called to tell them to leave everyone at home, lol. My MIL also told me attire will "probably be super casual" fml.

Indeed! I'll probably chicken out because I don't want to spill beer all over myself if I don't get the turn just right. There are always a few people who try every year and manage to drench themselves in beer, it's kind of hilarious.

They are also having the Stein Line race tonight, which is a beer relay. I'm excited to watch that. Drunk people running are always fun to see.

Right?! I was just in awe reading the story, and then I got all teary eyed at "Each medic on the helicopter voted. It was unanimous. They were going to try to save the soldier's life."

freaking hormones. That's the kind of crap that makes me hate anyone who targets soldiers. War is stupid and sucks- the people who fight in them are amazing. (And there's your dose of politices at 8:12 in the morning.)

Morning! I took a nasty fall down the stairs yesterday. My heel hit the curve of the step so I slipped and went sliding down on my ass. I managed to take skin off both of my arms and give myself a huge bruise on my left ass cheek/thigh. Also yesterday, I gave myself a paper cut and Lucy (accidentally) scratched me in the face while playing. I look like someone beat the crap out of me.

Sounds like everyone has a fun weekend planned!

Good Morning! 3 more days until Monday!

I am so effing tired. A bitty bout of irritating insomnia had me up until 2am but damned if i didn't wake up at my usual time. This is gonna be a long day.

The weather guy was less than optimistic with his forecast last night and now all I can think of is this bit from Good Morning Vietnam:

"It's hot. Damn hot! Real hot! Hottest things is my shorts. I could cook things in it. A little crotch pot cooking." Well, can you tell me what it feels like? "Fool, it's hot! I told you again! Were you born on the sun? It's damn hot!
