What the hell is wrong with people....

So I just found this out today.  I went to high school with the mother of the baby girl and was a good friend of her's.  I cannot believe this happened to her or to her daughter.  Makes me sick for the human race.  The world is just so crazy and scary.

    That is awful. i have no idea what would possess someone to abuse a 2 year old, much less sexually abuse a 2 year old to death, especially one that is the grand daughter of a prize fighter. Seriously screwed up dude. 

    On the other hand, its pretty cool you went to school with Michael SPinks' daughter.

    This is awful. I spoke with a woman who works with battered women and children of sexual abuse. She said the worst case she has ever seen was just like this-- except the baby was 9 months old. The baby didn't die, but had OBVIOUS physical clues to sexual abuse that I won't go into. I hope she never remembers.

    I know.  I just cannot imagine.  I'm in shock and trying to figure out where to send flowers.  I just don't get how anyone can hurt a child.  Let alone sexually abuse them.....

    Aprove - the same exact thing happened in my hometown a couple years ago.  The young mother was a classmate of one of my sisters.

    I'm not saying that any crime is okay or acceptable, but I especially don't understand when people abuse children or animals.  They're clearly innocent (again, not that other victims aren't, but YKWIM).

    She was very very quiet about it in school.  It wasn't till later that I really put it together.  She was so nice to an awkward chubby freshmen.  I think its even more scary cause they just got engaged like a month ago and she constantly posts pictures of her kids.  Facebook just makes you feel closer to everyone.

    I feel the same way.  It isn't just that they are innocent but totally unable to defend themselves and dependant upon their abuser.  ugh.

    I think they should put that guy in cuffs behind his back and let the woman's father kick his ass. I don't care if it's been 34 years, a boxer is always a boxer. And a boxer mourning his granddaughter has some serious rage.

    At the prison my brother works at, they have a huge list of special precautions for people like this because the other prisoners WILL kill them.

    I so wish we didn't waste time protecting them. This is an inexcusable crime and not something one can ever redeem themself from.  Hell if I did this I'd want someone to kill me.

    The prison is maximum security, death row.  Every single one of them is a monster.  It is much safer for everyone involved to protect the ones on the unspoken hit list.

    I think it'd be fitting to just let the other prisoners tear those people apart. They truly don't deserve to live. I think all rapists and pedophiles should automatically get the death penalty upon conviction.

    This is sick. It makes me so sad that this is even an issue.

    A couple weeks ago a mother (who goes to my school) drowned her 8yr old daughter in the bathtub. The moms boyfriend hadn't seen the daughter in a few days and got worried (he had a hunch that this would happen) so he broke into their apartment and found the little girl 4days later. The mom just regained custody of the girl 3months ago.

    Some people are just sick!

    I'm not going to read the article based on the responses, because I know how it will affect me. But I will say that this is the reason why I so adamantly believe in the death penalty, and wish that sometimes we could go to a more "eye for an eye" kind of punishment. That kind of person doesn't care that his actions will make that kid suffer for the rest of her life, so why should we care about him?

    Well, ladies, the eye for an eye justice may not come from our direct justice system, but in prisons, people who hurt children in such ways are on the bottom of the food chain. Meaning, they are the ones who get their @$$es kicked and those oh so painful shower scenes from the movies. So, this sick fvck will get what he deserves from some big scary inmate named bubba, or snake or some other cliche huge guy name.

    This is why I get really skeptical when someone lets their boyfriend of only a few months move in with them and their young child.  You just can't guess that someone would do this, so you have to be super cautious with your children!
