Walking down the aisle

Who's walking your mother down the aisle? We have no groomsmen/ushers and I don't have any brothers...

My brother has been designated an "usher" and will be walking my Mom down the isle, along with my grandma (s) if they want to come down the isle durring the pressional.  My FFIL and my FSMIL are walking down the isle together, and the best man, my FH's "half" brother, will walk my FMIL down the isle

If you don't have groomsmen, you wedding might be informal enough for them to just walk down the isle themselves, or ask an uncle or other close family member or friend to do it.
  • My brother is walking my mother down and my sisters boyfriend is walking my FSMIL down the aisle. Nothing too fancy just having them escort them to their seats.

  • Do you have an uncle or grandfather you could designate to do it? Or maybe just ask your mom who she wants to walk her down.

  • My 16 year old nephew will be.  My brother will be escorting me, our Dad passed quite a few years ago.

Do you have a male relative that can escort your Mom?  Grandfather, uncle, cousin?  Even a close male family friend...there's no rules!

  • One of our ushers is doing it (one is my cousin and the other is a good friend for 20+ years). FI is walking my FMIL down.

LIke PP said, if I were in your boat I'd ask a male relative or a GM.

  • Since my mom is the one escorting me down it doesn't apply to her. We haven't fully decided who will walk FMIL down. It will either be one of our ushers or one of our GM...we even talked about letting our 4 year old RB do it haha. I think it would be cute and FMIL has kept our RB in her home daycare since he was 6 wks old. Plus since his dad is a GM it would be easy to tell him to just go back with his daddy. Basically whoever she wants out of the WP except FI or her hubby because he's the BM and they will already be up front when she is seated.
