DIY Invites: Cardstock and Templates

Two part question ladies!

Cardstock: I am planning on making my own invitations using pocketfolds from Cards and Pockets (and am waiting patiently for their 25% of sale lol) but I want to buy the card stock separately as theirs is pricey.  I checked out cardstock at Staples and their 65lb cardstock seemed oddly inexpensive ($15 for 250 sheets). 
Does anyone have any recommendations for cardstock?
Is 65lb the right size to use for the actual invite and inserts?  I have my work's high quality printer to use, so I'm ok on that front.
Has anyone used staples?
I don't need anything fancy - just ivory/natural colored paper and I'm a happy bride-to-be.

Templates:  Any recommendations on websites where I can find cute templates for my invites?  I'm looking for something with a garden theme/floral border...

    Are you looking to pay for templates? I would check Etsy - There are loads of sellers that will customize your invites and then send you the digital file.

    I used cards and pockets to actually print my invites as well - The price of the cardstock is including in the price and it really saved us a lot of hassle and annoyance with printing it on our own printer. HTH!

    I actually found the 65lb cardstock at Staples to feel a bit flimsy once I printed a sample and cut it out. I ended up using 80lb from Cards & Pockets and it was a really good weight. I also printed the incite, response, and reception card on one 8.5x11 so I only needed ~100 heets for the invitations.

    I am using a seller on etsy for my invites. She is designing and printing all of my invitations, RSVP Cards and Enclosure Cards on 120 lb smooth cardstock. I am then going to mount the invitations on mats from Cards and Pockets. I am getting 80 invites, 80 enclosure cards and 80 RSVP's for only $110. It's crazy how cheap it is! Plus I don't have to worry about cutting them.

    I highly recommend contacting her. She did my STD's too.

    Thanks for the help girls!  I should check out Etsy or else better paper.  Wish I could have responded sooner but I can't get on TK on my work computer...BOO...

    I definetely recommend Paper and More (http://www.paperandmore.com/) for cardstock and even envelopes. They have pockets as well. You can order samples of everything if you want to test out the paper weight and/or if your printer will work. Plus shipping is only a flat $3.99!

    ETA: I just reread and saw you are looking for cream/ivory paper. I am using the linen finish natural cream and it is really lovely!
