  • happy spring to you too! I am not changing my dress, just doing a bustle.
It doesn't have to be perfect to be everything I want!

  • This is something I thought about a lot, and have pretty much decided not to do. I love my dress, but I do still get concerned about how hot I might get, so I plan to keep a fan in the bathroom to go and cool off when I need to.

I still keep my eye open on the sales on DB every once and awhile. If something really speaks to me, I'd consider doing it.

Same here, too.  Just one dress.  I can't imagine not wearing it all day.  LOVE IT!
  • 1 dress here too.  I love my dress too much to change!  The train will be bustled and I'll replace the veil with a sparkly hair comb.

  • My ceremony is at the reception if that makes sense.  So I have one dress and go straight from ceremony on the dance floor to eating and dancing :)  LOVE MY DRESS!
  • I'm a one dress girl as well.  I will have it bustled and remove the veil for the reception.

  • One dress for me (my mom's - it's the pic in my avatar).  I'll be taking the veil off and putting on some sort of fun hairpiece for the reception.

  • One dress to rule them all and after everything I went through to find it, I can't imagine having to look for a second one! I'll just be bustling up the train and taking my veil off. The headpiece stays on for extra bling. :

  • Originally I wanted to change into another dress because my first dress didn't seem like it would be comfortable to wear all night and I wanted to be able to dance comfortably.  Now that I have a different dress, I am keeping it on all night!  I love my dress and I wish I could wear it again and again!

i won't be changing dresses for the actual reception, but i will be changing for the post-wedding party. we're getting married in New Orleans and hitting up Bourbon Street after the main activities. i'm getting a knee-length bridal dress for this so i can maneuver around but still be a bride :)
  • I am planning on wearing my wedding dress through the majority of the recpeption but really really want to find a short white/ivory dress that still looks bridal that I can square dance in. But I don't want to spend a ton of money on it, so we shall see. Square dancing in a long dress will probably be next to impossible, even bustled.

  • For now I am saying no...but I am having a ceremony at a chapel and then everyone will come back to our house for a big party (this is a second wedding for both of us). Part of me wants to wear the dress as long as possible, but I may want to changing into something shorter since I will basically be partying at home.
  • One dress for me too! we're going to a really nice hotel suite for your wedding night and I love the idea of the limo dropping us off in our wedding attire :) I could wear my dress everyday :)

  • one dress for me. I love my dress, plus the ceremony and reception are at the same location. I made sure the dress was good for both(no train).
