So excited to have booked my DJ tonight, I was having such a hard time. I think its soooo important you click with people and their personailities on top of liking them professionally. We booked Premiere Entertainment DJs. I had my heart originally set on using ESP but they have horrible customer service, never called me back and when they did I felt like they were always rushing me off, I visited with a few other places but none of them had what I was looking for.
I booked with emcee Dan, a DJ, went with a percussionist (a must have for me once I saw one at my gf's wedding) and even up lighting!

    that's funny you say ESP had bad customer service.. I felt the same way. I wouldn't liked to meet with them because my friend is using them and said she got a good price and they were great to work with, but I felt like they were blowing me off when I emailed them, so I never bothered making an appointment to meet with them!

    Sad. . .maybe they were so busy they dont need our business? LOL I felt like I was annoying them and I didnt want to feel that way. . .if I couldnt get a meeting by phone calls and emails and even meeting with them at a b ridal show. . .then how were they gonna be once I gave them a deposit, ya know?

    you will love working with Premiere! We used them for our wedding and they were fantastic.

    I am booked with Premier and got the same extras as you (uplighting, percussionist)  I also went through them for a violinist for cocktail hour.  I am glad to hear that you went to a wedding and liked the percussionist.  I've never been to a wedding that had one.  I thought it would be different!

    @Bridetobe - you will loooove it, I wanted a band/dj combo but its starts to get super pricey so Dan said he highly recommends percussionist as first choice. I thought a little pricey compared to others BUT they made me feel like everyone will go my way and they will handle everything, so for piece of mind I was ok paying the amount - How did you do pricewise with them? I was in the $3k-$3.5k range but we didnt get plasmas
