  I've been to weddings at both, Phoenix Room is beautiful, once you get in, but its really awkward getting in, finding it, even....bathrooms, etc....really nice for 100 or less, more like 75, max....
  
  Ipswich CC is beautiful, and not talked about a lot on here, I have relatives who live there, so I'm a little biased, BUT, its really pretty, great room, only 1 wedding at a time, great lobby, very professional, fantastic food, etc....if it was an either/or, definitely do Ipswich CC!  IMHO

  I viewed Ipswich CC and thought it was pretty, but I hated the rug and the fact that the ladies room was upstairs.  I also have alot of guests so I would have to do the different levels.
  
  But there are great photo op's at the end of the road on the cliffs overlooking the ocean.

  Blueyed - are you sure you're talking about Ipswich CC? Its not near the ocean. Are you thinking abut the castle?

  Opps!  My bad, lol.  You are right, I was thinking of Nahant CC. 
  
  I did view ipswhich CC.  I had a few issues with them.
  
  1) If you want to get married there, outside, you have to get married in the PARKING LOT.  Lol.  I was horrified.  She walked me out to the parking lot and was like "this is it".  "No Parking" sign on the concrete and all.......
  
  2) THe bridal room bothered me.  It looked like someone threw up pink flowers.
  
  3) They told me I could NOT use the greens for pictures.  At all.  And certain parts of the grounds were strictly memebers only.  Like that beautiful deck.  Off limits.  (in case golfers want to eat.......)
  
  However, they were re-doing the upstairs area where your ceremony would be.  They were re-painting and changing the carpet. 
  
  I just thought that it was a waste of a beautiful place.  So much room, but they do not allow you to use it.  The woman Holly was really nice though.  I just could not justify spending that much and being so limited.  I felt like since I was not a member, I was not as important.  And no bride wants to feel that way on their day.
  
  If you are looking up there.  Have you thought of Willowdale Estate?  They were SO accomodating and I love how special they make you feel.  I really wanted to get married there.......Plus, they were WAY better priced and had so many options for you.  Indoor wedding, outdoor wedding with their tent, reception on site if you want, free valet parking, etc.

  We liked the ICC a lot, however they didn't have a good date available for us. We were told we could get married outside on the deck overlooking the greens not the parking lot....don't know if things have changed since.
