Has anyone used or know someone who used White Willow Studio for photography or videography? I think I like them, but can't find any reviews anywhere. Thanks!!

We are using White Willow Studio for our Photography and DJ service. Kay, the owner, has been wonderful to work with. She has spent plenty of time with me going over details and answering tons of questions. She checks in with me often to be sure we don't have any other questions or need anything. Our engagement pictures are next weekend with Steve, I'll try to remember to check back in and let you know how those go.

I am using them as well. Kay has been great to work with and is very on top of things. They are a new company, but all the people they use have past experience.

I love Steve's work. He takes amazing photos. When is your wedding? Is Steve shooting for your wedding as well? I just feel because White Willow is so new, they have a lot of kinks to work out. Do you feel that way?

I've been waiting for my video for almost a year now and they are now ignoring my calls and emails. I think they may have lost my video and am looking into a lawyer now. Has anyone else had a hard time connecting with them?

Yikes you are making me nervous. I have started asking about my video as well and I have also been ignored but it's only been a week so I am hoping its just a coinsidence. Please let me know if you have heard anything and I'll do the same.

I am in the same boat! My wedding is 4 days away and the last response I have gotten from Kay was on June 30! If anyone wants to private message me any other details, I wonder how many other brides or future brides are dealing with this.

Have you had any luck? We will be hiring a lawyer and look to book a new photographer for our wedding in September. Have you guys found a backup, or has she finally responded to you? I hope you've worked something out and have a great wedding day!

We have not heard from Kay as well! No reply from my emails and their phone is disconnected! Our wedding is in October and she has our deposit! Has anyone been to her office?

Anyone heard anything my wedding is in 5 weeks and they have all our money 4K!!! My fiance is going to drive to the building now and see what is going on, I'm so heartbroken right now!!

I'm sorry for everyone that is going thru the same thing I did. My wedding was yesterday and nobody from white willow showed up! I figured they wouldn't since Kay has not replied since June 30th, we were sending emails to them continuously until Monday, which was 4 days before my wedding, hoping for a response. Luckily we were able to find someone last minute, but that was not the kind of stress we wanted to deal with, especially the week of the wedding. We are also looking to get our money back, they broke the contract!

Thanks for the update...I can't believe you had to go through that I am 5 weeks out and am freaking out, can't imagine 4 days!! So I find this interesting. My fiancé tracked them down on fb...after driving to their office and home which were both unoccupied. They husband Tony replied on fb to my message finally. They said they have not ever and will never not show up to a wedding, they told us we were still a go for our wedding, I don't trust them at all. And thanks to you now I have proof that they are not showing up. Thanks and I hope everything turned out and congrats on the wedding!!

Kay was the only person that ever replied to us by email, so I cannot speak for Tony, but if they're running the same company, I would not trust them. In her response to our multiple emails, (p.s. it took a threat to report them to the police, credit card company, and the bbb for them to finally respond!) she also said she has never backed out of a wedding. She even told me that she herself and another videographer would film it. We asked to meet with them to go over specifics, and her last response to us was that she was going to see that availability of the other videographer so we could meet. Since June 30, we had sent a total of 16 emails, none of which she responded to. We also left multiple voicemails, none of which were returned. We even asked for a refund initially when they would not respond, and she would not do it because they said they have not done anything to violate the contract. Yet they end up not showing up, they definitely did something to violate it now!! If she had actually told us that she would not be able to film it, then I would've had respect for that company for at least telling us and hired a different videographer a month before our wedding, instead of 4 days!! Instead she lead us on to believe that they would film it, only to not respond and not show up!! Our contact information had not changed on the contract we signed with them, so they could've called or emailed us anytime! I am so sorry for what you're going through and hopefully everything works out for you as well.

Thanks for your reply. They are feeding us the same crap, telling us we can't get our money back as our video guys are contracted and paid for already and that they are willing to provide services. They keep telling us if we don't want to use them its on us and we would be violating the contract since they are still going to do the wedding blah blah blah. Were you able to get your money back or are you looking to hire a lawyer? Wondering if all the girls on here have issues, if it would make sense to all get together and share stories to show proof. They claimed they sent a letter out explaining the situation but we never received one and it would have been nice if they would have called or emailed. I sent an email to Kay and no response...I also tried to send her a message on fb but that option was disabled which was why I went to her husband. They also disconnected her cell phone which I thought was strange. If we would have never contacted him through FB we would have never heard anthing like you also. Let me know if anyone has anymore information to help eachother out

We used White Willow Studio for our October 14, 2011 and leading up to the wedding everything was great. The day of the wedding they showed up early (without my consent) and tried to leave early because of this (at 8pm when dinner was just ending). Now 9 months after my wedding we have gone to court because they attempted to charge us over times charges (the judge said no way) we have paid them in full and have only received 800 pictures (2 photographers for 10 hours... hmmm sound messed up to you??) and a 5 minute wedding clip. They have failed to turn over all photographs, full length video and made it impossible for us to order the prints that came with our package that we already paid for. The owners Kay & Anthony have made absolutely no effort to return our calls or emails. This has been a completely devastating experience!!! If you look on YELP there are others who have gone through the same experience! They pray on people who are working hard to plan the biggest day of their lives!

They are telling us we can not get our money back for our wedding in 5 weeks because we are canceling...when the actual fact is we were unable to locate them...only through tracking them down on FB. They posted this whole essay on YELP and are blaming this whole thing on me and my fiance when the fact of the matter is if it wasn't for me reading reviews on here I would have been completly oblivious to the fact that they were out of business and unreachable, we aren't the first people having issues.

Anyone else having issues feel free to contact me as well

We have a wedding coming up and have booked services through White Willow Studio and am extrememly nervous reading all these posts. Has anyone received photos from WWS? Did the photographers show up for any recent weddings? Should we book a different photographer? Did anyone get their refund back? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering if anyone has found Tony or Kay? My daughters wedding was June 30th and we still have not received the CD with the pictures, the wedding video and the petite video that Kay made was just cancelled on Vimeo. Right now we have nothing that we paid for. My daughter had Kay's phone number and facebook page until about a week ago. Those have all been cancelled. We have no way to contact them. I understand that they have dissolved the company. Any information would be helpful. Email me directly.

We talked to lawyers but luckily before we got too far with that, they contacted me saying they would send me my video ASAP. I still feel that they did a wonderful job on my preview and everyone who watches it LOVES it. Really these brides especially ones who haven't been wronged yet and weddings are coming up, need to leave them alone and let them fix their mess. As long as I get my video I would use them again in an instant they were wonderful and I don't know what is going on in their personal lives but give them a break and leave them alone.

Are you Ashley that told me I didn't have a leg to stand on, and blocked my messages on YELP? Let me guess you are unable to get a hold of them. Last I heard they were in Michigan? I had a bride call me and tell me all the issues she had with them. btw...not trying to start anything but you told me I insulted you when all I said was that I wasn't sure what kind of companies you did business with as WWS was not how one should conduct business. When in reality you insulted me by saying I was harassing them and that I should just count my losses with the 4K I spent and move on. All I was trying to do was to give some brides a chance to find another vendor and to not trust WWS, and if I helped one bride out I'm happy.
