Apparently the Lions are going to the superbowl (according to H, who is full of bs lol). He just had fun wearing his jersey today since the Lions beat Washington.
Yeah, I did it with dollar store makeup too! It was all various eye shadows and eye liners. I was happy with it.
We gave out books to anyone under 13, and candy to those over 13. The parents got a huge kick out of the books and a lot of the kids ran down the drive going "Mom mom they gave me a book! I love books!" There were also some incredibly adorable little kids too. We started out counting the kids and quit after 60. We also went through about 80 glow bracelets and about 50 books.

Aww. That's awesome! We went "trick or trunking" at a local elementary school. Everyone gave candy out of the trunk of the cars. It was good since Taryn was so little; we didn't have to walk an entire neighborhood to get our loot.

I love Trunk or Treat! Our church does that for all the little ones.
She looks adorable! I want one. I saw baby bees, ladybugs, catterpillars, pumpkins, princesses, a duck, a unicorn, and a spider tonight. Baby costumes are too cute!

Shut up you :P I just keep calling Brady "Big Beiber" and it makes me feel better.
H said next year I should go as a kangaroo, then if we have a little one I can put them in a little sling and they can be a baby kangaroo.

One family came dressed as a big cat pack. Dad and 2 year son were dressed up like lions (manes and all) and the mom and little girl were dressed up like cheetas.
Then there was one itty bitty one, maybe 5 months old, who was dressed up as a little teddy bear in a sling on his mom. He looks so comfy and warm I wanted to curl up with him.

It was like I remembered Halloween to be from my childhood. Kids everywhere!
A little boy wearing an Adrian Peterson jersey and helmet ran up and said "Trick or treat, Favre stinks!" i gave him extra candy.
