My seamstress sewed a little blue bow in the lining of my dress as a "something blue". I also sewed my mom and great aunt's engagement rings in my dress so I could feel them on my hip all day, they were my old and borrowed and I used blue thread.

Turns out, Sears sent me the wrong size and color, and it was such a hassle to return them that I decided not to bother reordering them. So I found a really nice pair of knockoffs on eBay and went with that instead. </div>

It all just came down to the heel height. It was just that my feet couldn't flex enough to walk normally because I was literally on my toes the whole time. It sucked, because I really wanted to leave them on, but I didn't want to do a faceplant on the dance floor, either, ha.</div>

Yes. I love any excuse to dress up really. This year for St. Patrick's I wore black and green striped tights, a black petticoat thing, a green lei, and green bead necklaces. Those shoes would have made it about 100x better.

I wish we had gone out for St. Patricks. FI is obsessed, and we always go out. But I wasn't feeling well, and we didn't have any money. I'm planning on going all out next year.
