I agree. I wasn't going to do this tradition until I found out that the boutique will embroider with blue thread, then I found out that my mom had my old flower girl dress stashed somewhere and suggested I use it for my flower girl... Which was not going to happen as it is completely out dated and has some discoloration.. Until I saw the lace and decided to seam rip it off.. So then I had my old new and blue and just needed borrowed.. So I asked mom if she had anything at all from her wedding from over 50 years ago and she said her Bible which has ribbons on it.. So it all kind if fell together!
