Good morning! Let's get Friday started so that it can quickly be over and the weekend can commence!!
Anyone have anything fun planned? And umm, is the 22 page Intro thread below worth reading/skimming? That is one long intro thread.
Have a great day everyone!
Re: Friday!!
I have no weekend plans othr than sleeping, cleaning, and writing. I plan to be extremely lazy.

[QUOTE]ha ha so I'm only on page three, but Sesh, were you successful in getting your very first hate PM? Please tell me your dream came true ha ha. I'm pretty sure that is the first person I have ever seen say they don't like you.

No, she denied me my moment in the spotlight.
Also, be expecting a FB message this weekend about a GTG. I thought about doing it last night, but I was too busy not being liked.
Seshat, I don't know you well enough to send you a hate PM...but I'd be happy to send you one telling you how much I love your kitty - he looks sooo snuggly!
I don't have much going on today - I think I want to get a pedi tonight after work, then just family stuff this weekend - my daughter is getting her recital pictures taken Sunday so I'm excited about that!
Hope you all have a great day!
DH got home last night so we ate a late dinner, and watched some DVR. His daughter is heading up from SC to spend the weekend and she de-friended her dad because she wants to tell him in person what the sex of the baby is, I think it's a girl.
And we have reservationsSaturday at Mitchells for dinner for our anniversary. And I'm making him take me to Jenny's Ice Cream in Chagrin Falls. Thats if we are still here after 6PM.

This weekend H will be off work so we will be cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. Oh and drinking a bit too. We have a fund raising event for a local girl that was in a hit and run accident and is now severely injured neurologically. Its exceedingly sad.

Sesh I didn't even get a hate PM. I got a truce PM (ya know as if we were fighting a war). She said she called her sister and realized she misspoke.....I'm assuming in reference to universal healthcare and that could we call a truce.
I'm getting ready to head out to my favorite greenhouse to pick up flowers for my big decorative pots. It's going to be hell. I don't know why I ever agree to go anywhere with my mother. But at least I'll get to buy some nice things.

[QUOTE]And I'm not reading that long thread, especially if it turned into a healthcare debate. That would just kill the good Friday I've got going on.

<div>It was actually a very entertaining read lol. Sometimes I wonder how people become so ignorant.</div><div>
</div><div>KD, have fun this weekend!!</div>
[QUOTE]Was not a healthcare debate. Just someone insisting the recent bill that was passed provided universal healthcare. ::head desk::

Oh FFS! Maybe I do need to read it. Stupid = funny most of the time.
From the epic thread I see last night was exciting. Although, I had more fun out with friends last night.
One week until the wedding today! I have everything done except the programs, which I have to wait on until the music coordinator gets back to me with the final arrangement choices for a few songs. I can't decide if I just want to relax or clean the house. When FI gets home from work we are taking a trip to Sephora. I also need to make a strawberry pie sometime today. Yesterday we went with friends to a pick your own strawberry place. We went a little overboard. We have about 8 pounds of strawberries.

Um I'd love you forever and ever if you'd make me a strawberry pie. Oh an strawberry shortcake. Please and thank you.
[QUOTE]Ok, i just got to the part about test scores. OMFG! Test scores =/= in depth understanding of current events. I made a 35/36 composite on my ACTs, but I still don't understand all the nuances of the healthcare bill. Sorry, but HS level gov't classes, even AP level, do not equal independent research and critical thought about an issue. You can ace a test by regurgitating what was fed to you and not understanding a lick of it. Some people (like me) are just good at taking tests. Doesn't mean we know more.

I love that she threw her AP scores out there like that determined that yes in fact America will/does have universal healthcare.

Get your butt down to NC and you can have pie and shortcake. I also have the shortcake recipe/ingredients and will probably make that tomorrow.

God I wish I could. Jersey's strawberry season isn't for like another two weeks. I'm dying.
ZOMG!!! It's almost here! Breathe, breathe... Nah, it's not that crazy around here yet.
FBIL has to work today so he probably won't make the rehersal. I told him that if he followed the other groomsmen, and stood next to them, he'd be fine. We're still iffy on indoor vs outdoor wedding. The weather has been rainy for about 2 weeks. It's sunny today and supposed to be sunny tomorrow. However, I'm thinking the lawn will be squishy. Won't be any fun for people walking to their seats and sinking into the turf. Or sitting down and having the chair legs sink into the ground. But, if I have to get married inside, it'll be in front of a BEAUTIFUL stained glass window, so WINNING! (Any curious lurker/lookie-loos can go to www.lionsgatecenter.com and click on the Gatehouse. That's our venue.)
Today will be run around like chickens with our heads cut off day. I do have my dress and he's got his tux, so really, we're good. :-) Have a lovely weekend my ladies, I know I will!!! (We've been celibate for a month, I'm sooo ready for tomorrow night!)
I would probably just make the call to have it indoors, unless you can scope it out in the morning to see how squishy things are.
Hi again to those of you who helped entertain me last night! That was fun!
