Re: *

  • I feel you on FI's job woes today.  Sorry they're treating him like crap and he should certainly stand up for himself. GL to him. I hope it works out well for the both of you!

  • That sucks. I hope he stands up for himself.
  • $250 a week? In Boston?!?!? You can't even live on that up here!

I hope he stands up for himself, or moves on.
  • Yea that sounds like crap.  Anyone who has ever coached knows that works out to be like nothing per hour with how much you have to work.

Mr Stack worked it out per practice, he hated that they were doing a blanket rate.  He is the only goalie coach though so he had a little more pull to say he should get what he wants since he's a specialized position coach and a team coach.

If I were Mr Gina - I'd tell those people to kick rocks, not soccer balls.

  • Dang, at 40 hrs a week that's less than minimum wage!

ouch. I feel you too. I'd tell Mr. Gina to start looking for other places to get a job in. that kind of pay is BS.

  • I agree with everyone on this. Gap or no gap, he could be using this time to find a better job that is worth it, and that won't make him (and you) feel like unappreciated crap. Sorry you guys have this going on with everything else.

  • Yea that really sucks!!!!  They probably charge the parents just as much as the other clubs too.
  • Ugh.  I hope he finds something better soon.  That salary is a f*cking joke.

If I wanted to hear the pitter-patter of little feet, I'd put shoes on the cat. image
