Well as you long time TK/Vegas regulars know, I did eight or nine trips to Vegas last year and I think six with my wife; lost count. Unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll be hitting Vegas for a while in 2013 at this point. Lots of things going on in our lives but the two primary ones are 1) trying to get preggo
and a smoky casino is not the best venue for that before or after, and 2) FIL has bladder cancer, soon to be operated on, and just had a heart bypass operation, neither of which is particularly good to expose to a smoky casino. We're trying our best to figure out how to make him not want to smoke anymore, even with his 'new' heart (in his mind), but at the very least, figured a casino will not help matters since most of the time I go, or we both go, he comes too.
We're going to do our best to help him kick that habit, and hopefully we won't make it to Vegas for our second anniversary because that will mean wifey is pregnant. I'll probably find a way to sneak out there once or twice even if she can't go, maybe lol, but we'll see. I'm joking, I am happy to miss gambling if there's a good reason like that. You better believe she'll be ready to shoot those dice after she has our kid though; would take an act of war to keep her away from a glass of wine and a few days in Vegas at that point.
