UUGH! What are the chances?!

I'm due for my annual in July so will ask about tweaking my pill so I can change the date.

Anyone else deal with this?

Ohhh noooooo!! But good idea about tweaking your pill. When I'm expecting my TOM around vacation time I always just skip my placebo pills and go right on to the next pack, avoiding my period for another 3 weeks.

I'm going to be off for about 2 days when we leave however if it was that time I would just skip the sugar pills and go directly into another pack to miss that time of the month! It won't hurt you but the next go round may be a little heavy, I have only done it one time and it wasn't bad but I did have a much longer period.

By the way, I totally didn't know what TOM was until I read the rest of your post! WOW!

You can even do it ahead of time. I did the calculations a few months ago, realized TOM was coming right around my wedding, and took an extra week of pills. Problem solved. Also, what does TOM stand for?

I'm going with Time Of Month and if you are going to double up months (which is totally acceptable according to the MDs I work with) I agree with pp and do it a couple of months before you leave because you can sometimes have some spotting. There is my two cents
