Airbrush Tanning

I'm having an outdoor engagment photo shoot in Vegas next month. I'm thinking of seeing if Makeup In The 702 can do my hair and makeup that morning, but I was also considering the airbrush tanning. I have a couple concerns though..

I'm wearing a light coloured dress for the shoot. Will the tan rub off and stain my dress? Also, it will be hot outside, so if I get a little sweaty, will that cause the tan to run or rub off?

Do you think I might be better off trying to find a local place to have it done before I fly to Vegas so that it has more time to "set"? The tan would then be 2 days old. Would it still look good? I'm clueless when it comes to this. I just don't want to look like a ghost in my pictures!

I have done a spray tan one time. I did it in the booth and then went straight from the spray tan and did a session of regular tanning in their best bed. I went home and showered after because I got all sweaty in the bed. I don't remember it rubbing off on anything. But your best bet is probably to talk to the salon or person that would be doing the spraying.

I airbrush tan all the time. I actually own a ommercial machine becuz I love it so much. A couple of things: The tan stinks very bad beuz of the DHA in it. It takes a while for this smell to go away. You should not shower for atleast 8 hours to let the tan set. It will rub off on your clothes if you have not showered yet. Wear loose dark clothing afterwards. A little sweat should not hurt your gown if you have already showered a couple of times. And I think the tan looks best 2 to 3 days after its applied.
