Room Block 2 Nights

Hello!  I have reached out to a few hotels in the French Quarter regarding room blocks and all of them seem to have a 2 night minimum.  Is this true for most French Quarter hotel room blocks?

    If your wedding is on (or the blocks include) a Saturday, that is true of almost every hotel I researched, and I researched a lot of them.

    Try hotels just outside the French Quarter off Canal, they will often not have the same requirement and still be in a great location

    Try contacting Hotel Provincial.  They said it was a 2 night minimum but I'm not having all rooms for 2 nights.  I reserved a few rooms (just for me and my family) for the night before the wedding and added more for our wedding night and she was fine with that.  I find that if you call and get the coordinator on the phone, they'd be more willing to work with you, especially if it's a slow time of the year for them.  Good luck!
