Sorry for the late TUT today :)  I woke up with a massive headache and decided to call in sick and sleep for a few more hours.

If you could travel back in time to any era (not within your lifetime!), what would it be and why?

    I've always wanted to travel back to the 1930s and hang out with my grandparents. Our family was much larger back then and they all lived on the same block in Chicago. I love looking at the old black and white pictures of family events and parties. Plus, my grandma and her sisters used to rock the best outfits and hairstyles.

    hum.. i think of this a lot and there are so many different answers for different reasons!!
     i'd love to be in the 20's... i just think the roaring 20's, in the flapper dresses would be a fun time.
    or the 50's. they just seem so wholesome and fun :)

    FWIW- i don't think the 70's because i probably would have had WAY too much fun LOL and likely end up in jail lol....
    although that does sound fun LOL

    I guess this was a dud a tell us tuesday!

    I would probably go back to the 20's.  It just seems like a fun era (you know, before the whole crash and everything!)

    Liz, I don't think its a dud!  My brain is just totally over-capacity right now!  My problem is that I would want to go to a prosperous time (suggesting 1950s maybe), but that I'm a big fan of equal rights and all.  So I'm sort of stuck.

    Can I go back to the Clinton era?  I mean, good economy, between Cold War and the War on Terror, and the hair wasn't as bad as in the 80s.
