I am looking high and low for a song that gives me the feeling I am looking for when I dance with my soon to be husband. All the songs I love are a little too upbeat and I have a hard time picturing us having a moment with a faster song. So please share, what are you dancing to as your very first song?

Our 1st dance is going to be to Who I Am by Wade Bowen. Its a really sweet song by a Texas artist.

And to add a little humor, we're having our last dance to What I wouldnt give for your love by Kevin Fowler, another Texas artist. Its very funny & totally fits our personalities.

By my side by tenth avenue north. Is our song, I was going through a hard time and this song came on and I just stared at him and he smiled and kissed my forehead and said that the song was "our song". Now when I listen to it, It makes me cry if I'm not crying and makes me happy when I am crying.

Love Secret Smile by Semisonic - never would have thought of it for a first dance!

My FI and I like very different kinds of music, and he won out when it came to the first dance. I do like the song, and it does remind me of him (and us), so it really wasn't a big deal. It's "Tougher than the Rest" by Chris LeDoux. A country song. If I'd had my way we'd have danced to "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison, which is what I'd always imagined as my wedding song. But we will still dance to it at some point, so it's all good.
