Wedding Woes

four men in the world. yo.

okay, so on friday night, after dh went to bed to sleep and barf, i stayed up to watch "dateline nbc" because i am actually a 42yo white woman with many, many cats.  they did two hours on ryan widmer, who is this dude who apparently killed his wife and was tried three times for it.

okay, so after trial 2, dateline did a little piece on him.  a bunch of women saw it, and they started writing to him.  a few testified at his third trial.

1) lying liar who lies.  said that ryan confessed and blah blah blah.
2) married chick who decided to become bffs with accused killer, talked to said accused killer on the phone five minutes before lying liar, and said he was fine.
3) canadian who had to have what the accused killer was cooking, got pregnant by him while he was out on bail, and is engaged to him.

and these were just the three women who were featured.  this radio dj who has been following the case was all, "this dude used his "free ryan" website as a pickup spot."

I taped that one, and ditto.

Those chicks are crazy, and that includes the one that got knocked up. I felt for his parents and her family the most.

Yes, but he doesn't leave his socks on the floor, demand sex all the time or hog the remote.

Who has the link to the prison weddings forum?

Discovery used to do shows on women who loved convicts all the time. I think of it as a special brand of commitment-phobia. These women aren't willing or able to be in relationships with men who are actually present. But a guy who's serving 3 consecutive life sentences can give them the warm fuzzy feelings of being in love without the work that a real relationship requires.
