Wax Museum brides!

What hotel did you get ready at the day of?  Trying to find a convenient location for everyone- any suggestions GREATLY appreciated!

    We are getting ready at the Ritz, which is about 4-5 blocks away and also have a room block there and at Iberville Suites :)

    Thank you!  Are you having a limo or other form of transportation bring you to the Wax?  I am having such a difficult time coordinating where we will stay/how we will get there/ yadda yadda yadda!  I appreciate your help!

    The Dauphine Orleans is right around the corner from the Wax. I saw one of their suites and they have some cottages to rent that have cute courtyards. They were under renovation when we went to check out the property for our room block, but you can see them online. They might be finished by now.

    Yes, we will have a limo and limo bus that will bring the bridal party to the ceremony/reception and then back after the night is over.  Its a little easier though because our church (Our Lady of Guadalupe) and the wax are within walking distance so we only need transportation once

    I'm actually getting married this Saturday - EK!! And am having an Our Lady of Guadalupe/Wax wedding.

    Our hotel block was at the Hampton Inn (not the best experience, but brought the price low enough for our 80+ out-of-town midwestern guests). However, I am staying at the Hotel Dauphine on that Friday and Saturday. We have one of the cottages that NO2012 mentioned. The one we looked at had the best bathroom with TONS of mirrors, which will help everyone get ready that day.

    We are having a limo pick the BMs and myself up even though it's super close. Though -thankfully- it's not supposed to rain, we wanted to have something ready in case it did. Also, my fiance and I will use the limo to head to Louis Armstrong park for pictures right after the ceremony. Plus, we're excited that we can easily give our keys to our parents and have them load up gifts/decorations into our car that will be parked at the Hotel Dauphine that night.
