Accountability - Thursday

Last night I went and did a 1/2 hr run on the treadmill and it felt SO good to get back to the gym! FI joined the gym last night and we both went, he hit the stationary bike (his fav equip). I think having him going too his going to help motivate me even more!

  • yesterday went to the gym like normal. ate ok but had a snack at like 9pm which probably wasn't the best decision.

  • Last night, I passed out on the floor after doing butt and thigh pilates around 8. 

    Today I'm going to workout with FI at the gym so he can show me this new "magical" ab machine.  lol.  That's after I suck down some pain medication and go to the doctors to talk about getting my prescription food again.

    My braces went on this morning, so I hope it makes me stick to eating only the prescription stuff.
  • Oh, forgot to add, 4lbs lost now! Yay!
    We agreed I could buy something for each 5lbs as a reward... time to figure out what ;) Initially it was a shirt I loved, but they discontinued that already and the store is sold out of my size :( boo.... Ideas?
  • I like doing weight loss rewards :) Maybe something to treat yourself like a mani/pedi?

    I've sucked at exercise lately... I've only been going 1-2 times a week. However, my eating habits (with the exception of super bowl sunday) have been good, so I've been losing weight. I've lost 5lbs in the last month (total, I've lost 17... I took a big break around the holidays!). I'd be happy with losing another 5, but 10 would be ideal :)

    I felt like crap yesterday so no exercise for me but my calorie intake was just under my daily target so I don't feel too guilty. I do need to work on focusing on quality of calories instead of just number though.

    I forgot to weigh myself this morning and I am really annoyed with myself. Thursday is my self imposed weigh-in day and I like to do it first thing in the morning. I control for fluctuations best this way. I know I'll weigh more tomorrow morning than I would have today, for some reason Thursday is my lightest day!

  • I am doing the Supreme 90 Day workout tapes and yesterday kicked my butt! It was a really tough 40 minutes non stop cardio dvd where you did circuits of 2-4 excercises up to 8 times ... but the thing was each excercise was 20 second then 10 second rest then on to the next for 20 seconds then 10 second rest. I had to pause a couple times to drink water and rest but I finished! Todays was arms and shoulders and I never thought you could sweat so much doing an arm and shoulder workout!

  • Joining a different gym in the next couple days because the 25 minute commute to my current gym is just too much, esp when its cmpletely the opposite direction from work and home (they kind of triangulate each other with 25mins between any two points).  I'm touring two gyms each less than 2 miles from my house, so I'll pick one this week and be on these threads regularly, hopefully :0)

  • Nice job everyone!  Last night I ran 5 miles.  My time is getting better all thanks to my interval training.  Tonight I will hopefully do some lifting and abs.  I'm going out for a coworkers birthday tomorrow so drinking will be involved.  I need will-power to keep that and yummy food to a minimum!

    I was 131.5 this morning which was a *very* pleasant surprise. It's the thinest I've been since proabably like October. I'm pretty sure I can get under 130 by the end of the month which is awesome! Unfortunately I'm going out to happy hour with a friend AND dinner tonight with FI's parents. My plan was as follows: grapefruit and a little bit of cheese for breakfast, grape and cereal for lunch, hummus while at happy hour and roast chicken for dinner. I'll try to only eat half and bring half home also.
