My FI's cousin is in town. We'll be celerating with kegs and eggs. Then, I will spend a wonderful afternoon sans boys to get caught up on things!

There's an irish pub not too far from our house that we like to go to and tomorrow they are having green beer and live music all day, so I think we are going there with some friends.

Nope, FI asked me what we were doing and my response was "when did you become Irish?" Not that you have to be Irish to celebrate but in the 6+ years we have been together we have never celebrated St Patty's Day. He wants me to make him cornbeef & cabbage...blah!
If he doesnt have to work OT on Saturday, we will be picking up our taxes, hopefully getting our wedding bands and FI has to get measured for his best friend's wedding in July.

FILs are in town and we are going to a spring training game tomorrow. We don't really do anything for St. Patty's. I will wear green though.

Not going to lie...I HATE the bar scene on St. Patty's. I enjoy a good time, but not wasted 21-year-olds falling on top of me. Gross.

That being said, one of BMs turns 29 this week so we're going to grab drinks at a Mexican restaurant/bar and maybe a local bar or two, but nothing too crazy and no bars that open at 7 am full of the crazies.

We are getting married at St. Patrick's Church so we were encouraged by our Priest to come to their St. Patrick's Day festival, so we will be doing that. Then we will probably head over to my friends St. Pat's annual party.

It is Fi uncle's birthday, so we will be going out with the family for dinner. After we have a pre-wedding party to attend.

FI and I are travelling to my parents for the weekend. Going dress shopping for my mom tomorrow and having an early 30th birthday party for me (the actual birthday isn't for two weeks) with lots of green and beer. Looking forward to spending time with my family.

I'm helping out at a charity event in the AM; then going to the wedding music workshop at our church and then probably into the city for some drinking & celebrating.

Now that I finally know what we are doing, I can respond to my own post!!

We are have some friends up from NJ and we are going to take them to Harney & Sons Tea company. They are an international tea company about 45 minutes from us. (Its the tea that is served at all of the Barnes & Noble.) Then I am going to suggest stopping at a winery.

Today I dressed up for work cause I work with children. Tomorrow were going to South End in Boston, which is very Irish, for some drinks and fun.

FI and I and some of our friends (also in our wedding party) are having a picnic/frisbee session in central park w/ guinness and green food then catching the end of the parade uptown. Agreed aimee that the bar scene on St. Patty's is absolutely horrific...I try to avoid bars, the subway, and the NYU area in general on St. Patrick's Day.

my best friends wifes birthday is st patties day so we are hanging out with her. she cant drink this year so its just a get together at home.

I will wear green. That's about it. I don't drink beer so any of the "traditional" activities involving alcohol are out. I'll probably queue up Gaelic Storm (a nice little Irish group) on my computer and make my version of Shepherd's pie.

Going to hang out at a ballpark and watch a baseball game with my fiance while enjoying the nice spring weather we are having, but I will wear something green!

we went down to the st pattys day parade in nyc then bar hopping. not the best choices a week before a wedding dress fitting lol
